The June Motel

We had a really great stay at the June Motel in Prince Edward County! The room was so cute and very clean. There is someone available to text for any questions you might have and they also had great dinner recommendations! And the location is great and a short drive to Picton’s Main Street. We would definitely stay again next time we’re in town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The June Motel with my 86 year old mom, and overall, it was a charming experience! The retro vibes and aesthetic make it a perfect spot for some Instagram-worthy photos. Plus, parking was a breeze, which is always a plus when you're traveling.nnThe breakfast was simple yet satisfying, featuring delicious muffins, yogurt, and coffee to kickstart the day. It’s just the right amount to enjoy without feeling overindulgent.nnHowever, there were a couple of downsides. The mattresses could definitely use an upgrade; they were a bit too soft for my liking. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was quite loud and placed high up, making it difficult to adjust the settings comfortably. The bathroom fan was also noisy, and I could hear quite a bit of movement from the ceiling above, which was a bit distracting.nnThat said, the highlight of my stay was definitely Katie at the front desk in the morning. She was incredibly friendly and provided fantastic tips about the area, including recommendations for shopping and dining. Her suggestion to visit a nearby winery was a gem we might have missed otherwise!nnOverall, The June Motel has a lot to offer, and with a few tweaks, it could be even better. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and retro getaway!

Our stay at the June Motel couldn’t have been better! They made our anniversary extra special as soon as we checked in. We watched a gorgeous sunset from the property, and when I asked for recommendations for a restaurant we were given a list of great places, and ended up finding the perfect dinner place! We felt very welcomed and comfortable and I would absolutely return for some s’mores by the fire or drinks in the lobby.

The complimentary glass of rosé at check-in was such a fun and nice touch.nnOur room was spotless, super cozy, and full of retro charm with modern comfort.nnCan’t beat a sunset view from bed or enjoying a scone and coffee on the balcony for breakfast.

This was absolutely the cutest motel I have ever had the pleasure of staying. The lobby bar and outdoor sitting area were so inviting and beautifully decorated. All the pink accents are a lovely touch for feminine empowerment. My husband arranged this little getaway for our 16th wedding anniversary and was a complete surprise. I will definitely be planning a girls trip with my besties just to stay at the June!
