Beautiful spot to visit. Would love to stay for a couple of nights and explore Jackson Falls and the little village of Milford. As for the restaurant, it's a comfy area both inside and out on the patio. However, the menu selection is a bit limited although the sandwich I had was delicious.Service: 5/5
I would give this a fantastic romantic accommodation stamp of approval. We visited the falls Inn last week and stayed for one night, the area was quiet and we were the only ones staying which made it even more special. During the summer months fire pits are available with a stunning view of the fields and the sound of the water falling down the hill side makes for a fantastic sound scape for anyone who struggles to sleep at night. Walkability: It is not possible to walk to any of the "close" by locations such as the town center.
I waited a few weeks before posting this review as my initial review would have been mediocre as for some reason I felt the amenities lacking a little. I have since come around as this place is not a bed and breakfast it is an inn. The rooms and bathrooms were well stocked and very clean. Unfortunate that we had no coffee machine for a day and a half but they did get a new one and replaced it quite quickly. The staff are the star of this place. They were all extremely friendly and polite and very helpful. The local beer they have is absolutely great. We were lucky enough to be there while they had the option of oysters and they were fairly priced at about $18 for six. Where this place lost a star with me was really the location it is near absolutely nothing. And you're basically completely on your own for any type of food which unfortunately we were not aware of at the time. As well, we booked a room and it was presented to us as a private deck when we booked. We were slightly disappointed to see that the building has a wrap around deck and it's completely accessible to anybody there. Overall not a bad experience at all. We did end up booking a few months in advance for a friend's wedding this area gets booked up pretty fast if you have the option in terms of comparable prices and locations to amenities I would not recommend this place again and that is strictly based off the location if you like a more secluded location then I would recommend to this place.
Great place to stay for a weekend in Prince Edward County. The breakfast was amazing and location ideal.
Very nice staff & food is tasty & excellent! A trendy little gem you must visit! Have a perk @ Jackson Falls while you’re there.
Lovely setting, Lovely old school house off the beaten track. That is where the good stuff ends. We made a horrible choice of room. Never take the Sargeant room. Our fault. No where to put or hang clothes. No where to put toiletries. A shoe box of a room not user friendly. The breakfast was a boxed breakfasts of the same for 4 days We never did see our hosts but their staff was disinterested and aloof The inn has potential, but lacks warmth and heart lack luster
A beautiful place in a great location. We stayed for one night in August however we should've stayed for two. The area is definitely our favourite part of PEC. The isolation of the area meant it was quiet and the stars were completely visible at night. It would've been a nice addition if they did breakfast because there is a nice common area. But I believe they do drinks on Friday evenings. We didn't meet the proprietors however they were incredibly quick to respond to questions. We'd highly recommend staying here and exploring this part of PEC. We will definitely be back!
This was our first time in PEC and the Jackson’s Falls Country Inn made our experience special! We stayed in the Palmer Suite which cost us $339 for the night. I can confidently say I had the best nights sleep! The mattress was extremely comfortable, the Inn was very quiet and I don’t think I heard one vehicle drive by that evening. If peace and quiet is what you’re looking for then I recommend this location! We had a cold continental breakfast in our fridge when we checked in at 3pm. There was also a Keurig and coffee pods available to help yourself too. The only feedback I have is that we would have appreciated a fresh breakfast or even warm breakfast option we could help ourselves too. There was a fire pit on site but unfortunately due to the rain we couldn’t access it.
Stayed with a group of five and had an amazing stay. Beautiful location and beautiful rooms. Easy check in. Will definitely come again!!!!!Rooms: 5/5
Incredible! The space is full of stunning surprises around every corner! It manages to be approachable and charming while having every comfort and convenience you’d want on a night away! What a gem! I love that all of the rooms are different, it’s so unique and fun. I can’t wait to go back!
