Great theme house party even has a kitchen And a Butler boards games a ball Pitt!!
This bar/club offers a decent mix of both styles. The dance floor is often overcrowded however with their being limited places to stand. The drink specials are decent and the crowd is what you would expect for a younger Barrie bar.
Had a great time up until I watched “security” corner someone and beat the living hell out of him for apparently making an empty threat. People started to record to ordeal but then another “security” guard start knocking peoples phones out their hand. This is such an unprofessional and over-reaction to dealing with someone while they’re intoxicated, they should of brought him to a police officer and had them deal with it, you know someone that is qualified and wouldn’t use so much brute force on a helpless drunk kid. This place is terrible if you hear bad things about downtown Barries club scene, it usually involves a security guard grossly misusing the power that comes with the job. These people do not care about you’re safety the only reason they are security is so they can wait for someone to mess up in anyway so they have a reason to throw their fist.
Really need to get better security, second time one of the girls in our group had been punched in the head by a grown man and nothing had been done. First time was myself back in August and second time was tonight. 0 security to be found anywhere and both guys had gotten away, I was lucky and only got punched in the cheek bone but this time my friend was given a concussion. Told the security girl outside to get some better security inside the club and told her what happened all I got was a head nod. Real nice Johnson’s residence
Not Impressed at all. I have attended here multiple times including paying for booth and bottle service on many special occasions including my own birthday with out any issues. However I want attending Bunny Hop this past Friday and the security at the door accused me or being far too intoxicated when I had only consumed two beers in a three hour period. Then when I notify this gentlemen that I have Mild Cerebral palsy He attempts to push me over twice followed by finally letting me in but basically notifying me that I will more then likely be removed if I act drunk. Honestly its left a bitter taste in my mouth the rest of the night. I left early and I don't think I will be coming back for a long time or at all. Why should I spend my money on people who basically bully me and make me feel uncomfortable.
They don't respond when you have a problem. I have ordered 2 booths off them. 2nd time around they falsely accuse me of something that I find to be very funny. On the same night I go to propose to my girl 1000 $ in bottles all our friends are there they "Cleared" my booth out because some guy comes to my booth and literally trys to steal alcohol from my table and trying to pick my girlfriend up I ask him to leave several times the security came over I said this guy is trying to steal my alcohol from my table and making my girl feel uncomfortable ..... he kicked us both out mean my booth cancelled un used bottles. I never even left the booth.. never through a punch and lost the ring. No reply no compensation ... not a really classy place if they can't admit to there mistakes. Big bald headed bouncer told my girlfriend that he was being fat and just kicking everyone out. Check the camera April 6th middle booth I'm interested in what you see on your camera's! I'm innocent!
Cheap drinks, beer pong, connect 4, jenga, hockey table, mario kart 64, and even a Damn ball pit and probably leaving out some stuff too. Couches and chairs too if you just feel like laying back and watching the hockey game or whatever else is on .Great place to chill with friends, girlfriend or meet new people. Dance floor can get a bit crowded at times but there is other rooms to move around in. Leave the bouncers out of this. They're doing there job. Don't act douchey and they won't give you a hard time. I never had a problem when I go there. 5/5
Bouncers are absolute idiots, pass through one page, tell me my name wasn't on the list even though I had personally spoken to the person hosting the party. 2 of my friends ended up making it in first try, waited outside for an hour before the retarded bouncers let us all in. Going again today, but it will probably end up being the same bouncers. Pray for me.
Excellent idea not so great execution. Can't shake the feeling that it's still the mansion in disguise. Dance area is way too small and claustrophobic. Drinks are cheap and pizza at 1am is fantastic!
New Year's Eve, took wife out for her first Canadian New years. However she dressed me and as such I felt like a bit of a lame duck. Floors were slick but the night was warm and her adventures in the ball pit had her laughing most the night. I babysat a drunk woman whom I married. Funtimes all around. Mostly. As an aside. Tandoori meatball pizza is delicious.
