The food and the service here were excellent, would definitely return. Tried the cauliflower bites, burger and deep dish pizza and all were excellent, fresh, flavourful and hot. Service was fast and friendly as well. If you like live music they also had a decent band on Saturday night. Would recommend.
One the few best strips I've been to. There is no entrance fee witch makes sense because it's located far from Toronto. The girls are so friendly and energetic. Place is small but the atmosphere makes up for it. There is three pool tables but it was busy the whole time. Drinks are ok. We were a group of five friends and we all had a fun night.
The last two times I have been there have not been good, though the staff were friendly and courteous. The second-to-last time I was there was a couple months ago, with two friends. We all ordered our own order of chicken tenders. The tenders tasted like nothing...literally nothing. No seasoning not even salt could be tasted, nor could the chicken. We didn't complain but when the waitress asked us how our meal was, our faces gave us away so we explained. We received a 50% discount, which was a kind gesture. No, none of us had COVID-related loss of taste or smell. The last time I was there was yesterday; a friend and I split three appetizers. We got the deep fried pickles, potato spuds and the dry ribs. The deep fried pickles were fantastic. The order of spuds was supposed be six pieces, but only five arrived. The dry ribs were tasty, but for twelve dollars we received a whopping four ribs, plus two other miniscule pieces that were essentially deep-fried gristle. Three tiny apps and one drink cost more than $50, before tip we tipped well, as the service was fantastic. We didn't complain because a gift card covered most of the cost of the meal, but that's probably the last time I will risk eating at the Queens. You just don't get value for your money. There are plenty of restaurants on Dunlop Street that have better food.
Food is tasty, especially the ribs the sauce was something!. Burger was good too. Service was slow though and everything was cold. Portions are bit small. Bbq plate is supposed to feed 2 to 3 people - it's more likely 2 : and prices inline with similar pubs in the area. Overall an average experience.
Great place with amazing energy! My fiance and I stopped in for an after work bite and were pleasantly surprised by the busy atmosphere and the great live music. Food and drinks were great as wellFood: 5/5
I was not impressed with my visit/ experience on Friday the 26th. I’ll be honest and say I was genuinely afraid I was going to get sick from our visit. Our table was clearly not wiped down, there was dried up water marks from previous drinks before. The glasses that were given to us were completely dirty with residue from previous drinkers, there was even a clear lip marking that was definitely not from me. Working in the industry I know that taking these extra steps to clean for your guest to feel more safe is not that difficult. Drinks and food and drinks were okay.
Food was okay, service wasn't the greatest. My wife got ignored by one of the bartenders. It was my birthday weekend and I made the most of it. The people were okay, no fights or rude people.Food: 2/5
Not impressed how you handled New Years My friend bought 2 tickets...He got there just after 7 .band does not start till after 8 ..no seats all reserved. Noone told him you had to reserve seats so we left...went to another bar...we should of been told it was standing room only....not impressed
Ordered a mid afternoon snack. My pretzel was super delicious and the German mustard was phenomenal first time eating there food. Definitely best pretzel I’ve had.
A lovely pub in Barrie. Has a nice view, polite servers, and simple yet delicious food. Try the trash can nachos for something new and delicious!
