I've been here twice now while visiting for business from out of town and this place is more than just decent.nnOn my first visit, I had just a regular coffee and it was great. It had all of the qualities of a coffee place that knows how to properly clean their equipment and uses fresh beans and filtered water.nnOn my second visit, I decided to try the hot apple cider and I was blown away. It is more than just delicious. It's perfect!nnI definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a soothing hot drink.
Stopped here from Nanaimo on the way to our daughter’s hockey game. We just wanted a snack and this was an excellent choice. The muffins were excellent and the cinnamon bun was delicious. The coffees we ordered were very good. We bought veggie sandwich to eat later because it looked so good. The place was packed. Quick service and a great atmosphere. The food was all homemade and looked very good. Glad we stoped here instead of the regular chain coffee place. Will definitely stop here anytime we are in the area. The prices are a tad high, but I understand with the price of groceries lately, and it was worth every penny. Lots of vegetarian options. Thank you.
First time visitors to Campbell River. This place was highly recommended. At Christmas last year I had tried their eclipse blend. We bought several bags of eclipse and beaver lodge as gifts as well as for ourselves.nnCoffee shop appearance. Small and cozy. Clean and quiet.nnStaff: Attentive and friendly but not overbearing or fake.nnExperience. We bought whole bean and asked if they could grind it. They gladly ground everything to specifications and properly resealed every bag.nnProduct: I also purchased a medium cup of beaver lodge black. Excellent, smooth coffee with a strong coffee flavour with hints of firewood and nuts. Good price for high quality.
I had a cappuccino, which tasted lovely. They explained the different types of shots they put in each size so I could choose accordingly. I asked about the number of shots of coffee in each size, and they were great to explain the different types they make as standard.nI was there around 1pm, and they had sold out of gluten-free sandwiches, but there were still a few salads available.nAmple seating inside and out, with umbrellas for some sun protection.
Tasty coffee, a bit loud to work but it was still a lovely spot.
