The owner is so nice! Answered my questions. Pretty Wheelchair accessible, she offered to bring my chair up the stairs. There are the sweetest opossums you can hold. Today there was a plant library. Bring merch money bc the store was tantalizing with original pieces at great prices.
This place is MAGICAL. Clearly the result of years of passion and hard work, which is made obvious in the beautifully curated collections. The owner, Nina, was incredibly kind and eager to answer my questions. This artful blend of weird and wonderful is the whole reason I make the trip to Chicago.
Absolutely gorgeous. A very small museum that I hope will grow like a caterpillar out of its cocoon. The art and collections both dead and alive are amazing!
This place is like a beautiful dream the owner, Nina, has such beautiful vision and being able to see the world through Her eyes is such a gift and a treasure! I cannot recommend stopping by to behold all of the wonders for yourself enough I cannot wait to come back ‍
A great addition to the Logan square neighborhood, I was patiently waiting for the shop to open and to no surprise, it definitely exceeded my expectations! I can’t wait to explore the museum portion of the shop next time I go!
One of the most unique and interesting places I've ever visited! Delighted to have stumbled across this spot.
I adore the Insect Asylum and I love the events they put together. So much interesting science and art. It is lovely.
This place is so Dope!!! Never seen anything like this I'm looking forward to bringing my kids along next time. As they have a great education program. Bonus material they also do taxidermy, and animal hides. So if you lost your 4 legged loved one they can help bridge the connection between life and death. Kool right
Beautiful place. They preserved my tarantula for me and did it beautifully. The museum is gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. Extremely kind staff, impressive collection and skills. I wanna visit every day.
My husband and I stopped in here today and had a wonderful time. Thank you for a unique afternoon experience!
