I stopped in desperate for some good coffee, unlike what my hotel serves. I ordered a maple latte which was fabulous and also picked up some Maine wine, hard cider, and chocolate. Very convenient and very good. I’ll be back
We ordered three Caprese paninis and one grilled cheese sandwich, all of which were fresh and delicious... I can still taste the pesto sauce in the panini! However, I have two complaints; there is no seating inside the cafe and the food took around twenty minutes to be prepared.
There is nowhere to sit while waiting for your order, because the entire seating area is filled with trinkets for sale. While we sat quietly on the step waiting, the barista barked that we were not allowed to sit. Food is decent, but they need seating, it’s such a small space and it’s crowded and awkward with all of the trinkets filling the space.
We came in to escape the rain and enjoy some hot coffee. They have a great menu and fantastic prices offering standard cafe fare done excellently and some Maine classics to go with them. The coffee was excellent and the food came out quick and tasted excellent. additionally the service was fantastic and the servers very knowledgeable and friendly.
Not a good place at all. Food was flavorless and not worth the money. Salad was $17 and uneven huge pieces of veggies. Staff was rude as well!
A little bit funky but not overly. Not your corporate coffee shop. Coffee is high quality plus a large selection of breakfast items, smoothies, etc. Counter service is efficient and friendly enough. Prices are fair for the locale and ambiance.
Spoke with owner for several minutes. Nice folks, fun shop with Maine flavors. Got lunch to go for a sunny spot in the village green across the street.
Great little coffee shop! The barista knows his stuff and even manages to make latte art on hot chocolate which I found amazing. The person who took our order at the cash was a bit apathetic, but nothing to worry about. A warm greeting is always appreciated. :
Had a wonderful mocha coffee, thank you to the barista sorry I forgot your name .
One of the worst caramel lattes I have had. The blueberry latte was not tasty either. And the prices were quite outrageous. : Go somewhere else for coffee in Bar Harbor.
