Their blueberry tea is seriously the best blueberry tea I have ever found. We always stock up when here and get their big bag of it too bring home. Charming little shop. The woman who works here is always a doll. Really charming and welcoming. I wonder if she is the owner. We love this shop.
What a fun place for tea lovers! They have a great selection of local teas and accessories. I wish I had shopped here before buying tea elsewhere in Bar Harbor.
My favorite tea place! They have such a huge selection of teas all locally made. My only wish is there were more caffeine free options. They ship from their website as well and sometimes offer free shipping specials so that's when I stock up when I can't get to Bar Harbor. These teas make great gifts for friends in other parts of the country!
I was in Bar Harbor 10 years ago when I discovered this tea company. I have been ordering it ever since and it's now the only tea I drink. The quality and freshness is AMAZING. I like my tea to be strong and there is no funny aftertaste no matter how long I steep my black tea. Definitely use boiling water to get the most out of this. Ordering online is easy and I have never had a billing or shipping problem. Thanks Bar Harbor Tea Company. You're the best.

Beautifully stocked shop with a huge variety of teas and the staff are delightful.
I visited this little shop for the first time this fall! What a precious find. After wandering the store for a period of time trying to decide among all the wonderful blends of teas, I decided on the blueberry blend and the cranberry blend. These 2 teas have a wonderful flavor that I highly recommend! They didn’t disappoint me. Best little tea shop!
My GF is from Maine and we visited her family. I picked up a box of the blueberry green tea from LL Bean and fell in love with it. I order the largest loose leaf bag I can since it is cheaper and it lasts a pretty long time! Worth every drop!
Great service and great teas. The guy who helped my friend and I was really knowledgeable and friendly. I got the green seaweed tea and an assortment of the Maine teas. So far, the maple Maine black tea is great, the green seaweed is pretty good and I think the lapsong seaweed would make a good soup.
As a tea lover on vacation I wasn't expecting such a pleasant surprise as to find such a well-appointed specialty tea store while out in coastal Maine, of all places! The staff was friendly and helpful and the range, both of teas and tea accessories was astonishing. I was hard-pressed to keep from buying one of everything I saw. As it was, I went back twice during my trip: once for the tea travel kit and a beautiful bone China tea cup for a gift then again for loose tea for myself after I relented to my continued preoccupation with the blends I saw, many of which, like their Lavender Earl Grey, Kiss From A Rose and Maple teas smelled so amazing I just couldn't resist! I also have never seen such an assortment of loose tea infusers and beautifully decorated bone China ware in one place before. The typical tea mecca like Teavana pale in comparison to this store. Just one caveat, they pack a lot of stock into a small store, and much of it is delicate and breakable. Take extreme care if visiting whilet carrying a large purse or backpack!
