The Ice Hut Bar & Grill

This is our fourth time visiting Cochrane for our annual snowmobile trip and we discovered this gem of a restaurant for the very first time. The food was delicious, on point, and prepared with serious intent to please. You simply can’t stop eating the fries, I’m convinced they import the potatoes from Heaven! Equal to the caliber of food is the waiting staff who welcomed us with smiles and warmth, not to mention offering attentive service. It was clean and their selection of beer on tap was impressive. This restaurant is Cochran’s culinary jewel, I recommend everyone to sample its sparkle!

Good place, stopped in during a sled trip, Fri night. The food was really good, grabbed a beer, burger and fries that hit the spot just right.

Oh my god.... Where do I even start... This restaurant is over the top. The owner and his family are all for their amazing menu and trust me... It's amazing. And they greet you with smiles and always make you feel like your part of their family. Just LOVE bringing my family there for supper when were in the area. Keep up the super awesome work. Cheers

Great, freshly prepared food from an extensive menu, lots of choices. Good sized portions and reasonable prices. Good choices in drinks as well. Service is friendly and fast. Nice atmosphere.

Quite possibly *the* best fries I have ever had. My friend and I ordered the spinach dip. Price seemed steep for it's size but it was very good. She had the fish and chips, commenting that the fish wasn't greasy like some places. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Also very good. Had to get half to go. I normally eat the fries that come with a dinner sparingly but these were so good, so I had to gamble that the pulled pork would be good as leftovers (pork was, bun not so much which was expected). Very busy place, happy we arrived when we did as we seemed to have beaten the rush.
