Giving 5 stars mainly for the staff. Bruce approached me and gave great advice from his own personal experience. He was warm and made me feel welcome, then handed me off to another staff whose name I didn’t catch. He was also knowledgeable and guided me to what I needed. This location had everything I came there for and more.

I always like going to the Home Depot on Macleod Trail. There is a lot of free parking. A huge selection of products for home renovations as well as appliances and lighting fixtures. In the summer they have a good garden center for your plants and trees. The staff are usually good and quite knowledgeable in the department they work in.

The five stars are exclusively for Ruth. Went to Home Depot today to pick up a few tools and was welcomed by the lovely door greeter, Ruth. What an incrediblely infectiously friendly personality she has! She's such a sweet lady. Felt like we were being greeted by a friend, she talked to us and everyone else just as if she'd known us for years. What a sweet and warm soul she is! And absolutely genuine in how she interacts with customers.nnPeople were walking in frowning and absolutely lighting up when Ruth said hello and started up a conversation. Even with a short interaction we walked through the store happy to have met her. I honestly feel she really sets up customers for the best first impression when you enter the store. She was an absolute doll!nnWe both agreed she is the best greeter we've ever met at any store. Ever. I feel like we met the Queen of Door Greeters. I hope she is around for a long time becuase she's great!

This particular Homedepot is open at 6.00 am. It’s very helpful for contractors to get an early start to their busy schedule. They actually have a variety of products available for everyone. Watch for sales to get your hands on some good deals.

I'm a regular customer at Home Depot Chinook and by that I mean I'm in there every day picking up materials and tools, regrettably I have to use the pro desk as I need a specific receipt for my materials...my experience there I would say is the worst I've experienced at any of their other stores in the city. Their employees there will have you wait and wait for service as they leasurely enjoy their social time with each other before standing up to come and help one with their purchases. Where is the management in this store, maybe they're having some social time too somewhere away from where they're really needed. Really unbelievable poor poor poor customer service.
