The Home Depot

I was very impressed with the Home Depot in SE Calgary. I like Home Depots but this one was exceptionally customer oriented. When I first walked in the cashiers were all standing out of their spaces so incoming customers could clearly see them and ask pertinent questions. Sometimes when entering big box stores the salesnAnd department people appear to scuttle to the back of the store or to another aisle where you cannot find them. This store was very much unlike that. A department employee approached me and asked me what I needed. Not only did he takenthe item out of the box and review it he also showed me another item that did the exact same thing but at $100.00 cheaper. I couldn’t have been more pleased. It is so wonderful to receive such great service. Thank you Bruce and kudos to the management that runs the Home Depot on 130 Ave. S.E.. This will be my forever go to Home Depot!

Frank in home appliances is a caring and very helpful person. He guided me on my purchase of a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher I’d already bought a stove and he was the perfect guy to be dealing with. He knows all about the different models and knows all the ins and outs of delivery and installation. I’m really glad I met Frank… he’s my ‘go to guy’ at Home Depot.

NOT CONTRACTOR FRIENDLYnnThis store has no cashiers and all the tills are self-checkout. Nobody was working the ProDesk during regular business hrs when I was there and took me 25 minutes to get assistance with my products.nnWhen speaking to the manager about this he was right away in a bad mood and was very negative. When asked him why there’s no tellers working the till he said he doesn’t care and to use self checkout like everyone else or leave.nnThis manager has no customer retention skills and needs anger management.nnWe typically shop at HoneDepot for miscellaneous purchases on our projects. This location has been black listed for how horrible the customer service is here.

I had AMAZING experience shopping at this Home Depot location. And they provide the best customer service, Curtis helped us with cutting our previously purchased shelves into shorter pieces patiently and professionally! And it’s free of charge as long as the shelves are bought from them even old ones. He is so nice and made our day! Thank you!

Very impressed with the customer service in the blinds department. We were looking for window coverings for our retail store that would still provide a good amount of daylight inside without people being able to look in. A very friendly lady sat down with us to help us out & booked us a free consultation for our business. We also talked about security, lighting & fire alarm systems & she was very helpful & knowledgeable about everything they have to offer. Excellent service & prices for a centrally located store. Always a great selection of gardening, plumbing, painting & cleaning supplies. A regular customer that always finds what I need and they offer key cutting with the latest technology without a long wait. Always plenty of staff on the floor in different departments & quick & easy checkouts.
