This particular home depot has always left us feeling happy. More then once someone at this store went out of their way to help us. Friendly chats and helpful workers aplenty at this location.

My mom and I went in to the appliances department in the owen sound home depot on black Friday to buy a fridge. Gail took great care of us even after running into multiple problems with my home depot card that is stuck in the mail. It took 1.5 hrs to get it done but not only did she over come many problems she did it with a smile and was even funny through the ordeal. None of the problems were on her end and I'm sure it was frustrating for her as well, but she never showed it! She was informative, helpful, and amazingly pleasant!! We are so grateful for Gail!! Through it all a few other alliance ppl stopped to try and help as well. I can't say enough good thing about them!! Gail if you get to see this you rock thanks again!!!

Given attitude at checkout by cashier for not donating to their charity of choice. Maybe you should consider sensitivity training, or maybe donate part of your paycheck? I love to support, but we also have our own limitations.

Okay, so I've been needing to write a new review for some time now. Moved to owensound just under 2 years ago now and fell absolutely in love with this home depot right away because of the wonderful staff there. After a few months, I had 2 separate customer service incidents, which really irritated me with one of them really leaving a bad mark on me and on them, and I had changed my review to reflect my experience. However, since then, there have been no issues at all, and my kids and I still like shopping there . Once again, my positive shopping experience outweighs the negative. What happened was not at all anything to do with store management or operations but rather just a particular person's customer service skills and communication skills or lack thereof. The manager cared enough to know what happened that he asked me in store while I was there with my son shopping, and we spoke about the reason for the review I left. Overall, I believe that this Home Depot does, in fact, deserve a 5 star rating, so I'm bringing it back to that. The staff are helpful and the sales deals are good and it's usually a pleasant shopping experience that even my young boys enjoy. Thank you to the wonderful, kind, and polite associates that work hard to keep the business running smoothly.
