Super yummy and extremely filling pizza. I was stuffed after 3 slices. We ordered ‘little bit country’ and ‘truffle shuffle’ and they were both delicious however the truffle shuffle was my fave. Nice service and the place looks cute. 1hr parking out front too.
A very filling deep-dish pizza High Dough offers a good deep-dish pizza that is able to feed your whole family. I was pretty impressed by the quantity and weight of the pizza. Yes, it is $32 for the classic, but it really is a whole lotta food. The taste was that of a traditional deep dish. Nothing too special, just a classic pizza with a classic pizza taste. They are pretty heavy on the parmesan cheese, but that is something I enjoy. Similar to other deep dish pizzas, the dough is best when it’s hot but be careful not to burn your mouth. All in all, a good deep-dish pizza that is very filling.
Wow what a pizza! Thick and delicious, .... I had a dirt city? And others had the donair both were delicious, and cooked to perfection They are thick pizzas, but the bottom crust was crunchy and thin deliciousness, the edges were caramelized cheese goodness.... The inside was layers of delicious toppings with the sauce on top It was a happy mouth flavour explosion A couple slices will fill the average person up and you'll definitely be taking home a snack for later The store itself was clean and had nice tables of you are eating in or taking out ... Staff was friendly and service was quick We all loved this place and would definitely recommend to others and we will be coming back again when we are in the area,
Was super hungry today, and my friend mentioned about this place. So we decided to order some, and it was great!!! High recommend it, and it might look like a heavy pizza where you need to take a nap after, But nope, light and airy! Highly recommended.
First time trying their pizza I got the Dirty City and was thoroughly impressed. That sauce on top has big smashed tomatoes bits in it.. So good. The mozza cheese is melted down into the dough like crazy bread, not having the sauce allows the cheese and bread to form the perfect marriage. Crunchy sides and bottom, but not a thick crust at all. And real parm dusted on top for that finishing touchy. The dough is thick, yet fluffy and light. And after 1 piece I almost full with 7 left usually I can knock back 3 or 4 from a franchised pizza place. Only pizza place in Alberta I can compare this pizza to is Sophie's in Calgary. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Really good! Pictures show the donair pizza which had a really crispy crust and was jam packed with toppings. This place is on the expensive side but you definitely get what you pay for... This ain't your neighborhood pizza 73.
The donair Pizza was very tasty so a 5/5, but the pepperoni was bad so that's a 1/5. On some of the pepperoni slices the dough had bubbled huge see photo, making half of it stale and unedible with no toppings.
Great Detroit style deep dish. We stopped by for a pie. We got the classic with pepperoni. Burned the roof of my mouth, but great pizza. Light airy crust, sauce was also great. And the pepperoni was superb. Staff was very friendly and had great recommendations. Thanks High Dough for dinner!
The pizza here is awesome. I can shouldn’t, but can and do dummy a medium to large pizza from any of the regular old pizza places. These guys fill me pretty good with half a pizza which I probably shouldn’t eat on my own but I still finished it myself in one night. So, key takeaways here are: the pizza is phenomenal, and I may or may not have portion control issues but you don’t care about that, this is a review from a satisfied customer, not a doctor’s visit
Ordered the burger she wrote and a cheese pizza. The burger one was odd tasting. Is it the secret sauce? It doesn't really taste the way a burger pizza would taste. The cheese pizza was sub par. Which if you cant get the simplest of pies to be good. Change your approach.
