Trip to Edmonton can't go without trying some good Zah! This fire oven pizza is the best! Tasty, thin crust, not soggy, and travels well! Wish they were here in Calgary instead!
Ordered Sepps for the first time this weekend to see if it stacks up as ‘Edmonton’s best pizza’. I ordered the 14” meat lovers and enjoyed the taste quite a bit. The dough was great but I was a little disappointed by the thinness of the pizza overall and skimpiness of the toppings - for this price I expected something a bit more substantial. I’d eat here again but just know sharing a 14” between two people won’t likely fill you up.
Decided to try, based on the great reviews and glad I did. Made fresh in about 30 min. Got the small margherita & it was PLENTY for 2. Very cheesy & gooey. Next time I might ask for lighter on the cheese : However it was really delicious and not greasy at all. I’ve had plenty of NYC pizza in NYC & this ranks right up there with the likes on Broadway. Located right in the heart of Garneau near UofA, directly across from Garneau Towers. Take out or delivery only .. also counter / window service. No cash accepted. Worth a visit for sure!
Read the reviews and saw the photos for Sepp’s and it was an easy decision to try this pie for the first time. I was definitely not let down! This pizza is delicious; the toppings, the sauce, and the crust is all so tasty!! Got two 14” pies, the Apulo and double Pep. They were both great, liked the Apulo just a bit more. Stuffed and very pleased :-
A good pizza to help beat a hangover. The pizza was pretty average. I ordered from UberEats, so it is possible the quality was affected by not eating in-store. However, despite that, the pizza did not have crisp on the underneath, only the crust. It was relatively floppy, and the top was quite greasy. This pizza was hyped up to be one of the best in the city, but I would disagree. It is a reasonably average pizza which I will likely order again next time I’m trying to beat a hangover.
Our go-to place for takeaway pizza! We love the Emilia and the Funghi. They also have online ordering which is very convenient and their pick up times are always accurate.
Ordered the 14” Margherita and 14” Funghi and pizza. The crust was extremely tough and very noticeable yeast taste. The margherita pizza was nothing of a big deal in terms of taste. The basil taste took over the whole pizza. I usually like mushrooms, but the mushrooms on the funghi pizza were too overwhelming as a topping. I probably won’t be going back. Lots of work needed to change to a softer crust and improve overall flavours. Expensive and overrated.
I have been here before but this time it just wasn’t good. It was hard to eat. It seemed to be overcooked. So the crust was crunchy but the other parts was just too chewy. Not sure what happened but this latest experience was off putting. Unsure when I will try this place again. For their prices, i will probably skip this place now…
Got the meat lovers and the vodka pie. Both we delicious and the prosciutto cotto was really good Will definitely be back!
IMHO $49 is much too cheap for an 18” pizza from Sepp’s, they should probably be charging at least $69. Better get the best deal in Edmonton while you can. The fact that they manage to get a pizza to taste soooo good using Vegan cheese is beyond me. Keep up the great work guys!
