This is the 3rd time for me ordering this pie. I can say this is the best pecan pie in Toronto. Perfect filling..it is thick, rich, dense but never runny. Taste is just the right amount of sweetness on the buttery crust. I’m so happy that I found this place.
The shortbread little scoop shapes look nice, but a little soft in the middle. Also didn't get much butter taste, may have some shortening. Everything else I had was outstanding, so decided on 5 stars. Scones are highly recommended can buy bake your own, the cookies are monstrous and wonderful, and the pies look amazing. The coffee and service are also excellent. I will be back.
My husband’s favorite pie is pecan pie so he eats it for his birthday every year. This was our first time ordering from The Happy Bakers and he says it’s the best pecan pie he’s had in Toronto. Thank you!
I was looking for a bakery that does scones in the financial district to bring into the office for a birthday treat. With no luck, I decided to pick some up in the morning before taking the GO into downtown. What a hit, everyone is loving these scones so much. They are delicious. Perfectly baked, with such a wide variety of yummy flavors. The best scones I've had. I know they do amazing cookies from previous experiences but these will be my new go-to. Amazing service, very reasonable pricing and over a gem in South Etobicoke!!
The happy baker always makes their customer happy with great food and service! Except this time … I’m always ok in a cafe if the staff just provides bare minimum service, I’m not picky with service, and I understand it’s not a restaurant, and I didn’t even sit down. In the past their staffs are always so warm and welcoming during my visit, and that’s why I love the place besides the amazing pastry! But when a staff is very condescending towards a customer with a different ethnicity background, it really makes me uncomfortable. With no greeting, no heat up service being offered as usually all of their other staffs always offered , when we close the transaction I said “thank you” as a habit, the staff look me in the eye with no response.….. please don’t spread the negative energy in our neighborhood, the Happy Bakery should always filled with love and happiness.
I had an office full of happy people today thanks to the lovely staff at The Happy Bakers. They were very accommodating to my large scone order during a busy season and helpful in person when I came to pickup my order this afternoon. Everything was fresh out of the oven and amazing. Thanks so much!
The best scones in the city. Hot tip: you can buy them frozen and just bake them in your oven and have fresh scones any day of the week!
The scones and lemon bars are amazing, and their pies are a must for any special or not so special occasion. They even have dog biscuits that were a hit with our super picky pups. They have quickly become our family's favorite bakery.
The frozen bake @ home scones are SO delicious, I recommend the choco chip pecan- Sometimes we get lucky and they have small bags of chocolate dipped gummy worms/pretzels/etc available they are so good too Also the customer service is great, one time they ran out of a loaf I wanted and offered to call me as soon as a new batch was made & they did :
I'm a TTC operator and my bus had an issue right in front of this store, I was blocking the entrance, instead of making a fuss, the owner came out to offer me a meal on the house . I initially refused but she insisted and I obliged. Yes, everything was amazing. I'd definitely recommend this place.
