The GYM Pub

Was recommended this place from a friend. The food was amazing, had little things that separates itself from a regular pub. Got the chance to meet the new owners, they were friendly and very welcoming! Would recommend for sure!!

I was here on a Wednesday evening with my hockey team after our badly lost game. Ill spare you all the details, just wanted to say, great service, great food, great drinks and amazing company. I personally had to leave early so I ordered a basket of fries and a pint of draught Stella. Not exactly healthy but deeelish. Those fries have crack on them! So yummy. My teammates had, no alcoholic beer Beck in bottle, pitcher of steam whistle, fish tacos, perogies, salad and burgers. Everyone was happy! I had one of the fish tacos and yum for pub food. Please keep this in mind, rating is based on pubfare. Upon entering we were asked to show proof of vaccination. Some tables have plexi separators but most tables had huge gaps to separate groups/tables. I definitely felt safe. Plenty of street parking. We had a great server and bus guy, no complaints. Needless to say our team will be coming back

Incredible food, but more importantly phenomenal service. My husband and I discovered this place in our neighbourhood after a disappointing experience at another nearby restaurant, while attempting to enjoy a first patio experience of the season. We noticed that the Gym was packed and people were having a good time so we ordered some takeout to see what the fuss was about. The food was extraordinary and reminded us a little of home in Australia. We returned multiple times for takeout and every time found the food to be the same quality. Today we were fortunate to be able to dine in on the patio and we will definitely be back as we appreciate service that is not overly pushy but is friendly and genuine, and that is what we got, accompanied by the same steller food. There was a slight mix up with something we ordered as there was a new staff member training however the kitchen was quick to rectify the mix up. We understand that times aren't normal and a lot of restaurants are having to hire new staff and conduct training. The fact that Gym took responsibility for the mix up and worked to make sure our experience was positive makes us all the more impressed. We will be returning as soon as we are able, and recommend Gym to anyone wanting fresh food full of flavour at a reasonable price, with an upbeat and friendly atmosphere. Amazing experience! The food was incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the service was exceptional! Our waitress Hoa was super helpful with both food and drink recommendations, this was overall a great experience. I’ll definitely be recommending The Gym to all of my friends!

It was a shot in the dark during a blizzard, but we found THE greatest pub. The waiter a kiwi! So attentive, amazing decor, modestly priced with beyond portions. It has a cozy yet sporty feel, gentle lights, good for groups, dates even families. The service was beyond. Just go!

New place. Very loud and overwhelming. 3 days open and the food was not that great. A very bad burger, super dry with bagged fries. The mac n cheese balls were tasteless. Very family friendly. Very minimalistic decor. Hopefully they get better in the future.

Magical winter night! A newer one around the st Clair strip, quite popular with younger crowds, and for good reason. The signature cocktails are must trys. Generous portion of fries. Will be going back

Good spot to meet up with a group of friends. Staff are friendly and attentive. 4 stars instead of 5 since I wish beers were cheaper and they had more craft beer.

Stopped in for a late night drink and some food with a friend. Terrific service, friendly and attentive waitress. The food was delicious . Definitely coming back when I'm in the neighborhood.
