Went there yesterday afternoon for a beer, beer was good! But the server was unhinged. Never had service from someone that looked so much like they were on stimulants or something else. Maybe a medical issue? But they were knocking things over on our table etc so probably won't be backService: 1/5
Great food, fair price and the staff is nice and welcoming. I had the chicken sliders which were fresh and well seasoned. The beef dumplings were tasty!Food: 5/5
Amazing food, great bar specials and fantastic service. Good vibes all around. Will miss Clinton’s but I’m liking the new life that’s been breathed into this iconic Toronto spot.Food: 5/5
Visited here to watch a friend perform. I love the demeanour and the several rooms they have. As you walk in, is the main bar. There’s an entranceway which leads to another room for karaoke and on the left side is open floor with a stage and dance floor. Bartenders were awesome and the whole event was a vibe. I would definitely go back.
Very clean bar, there was lots of staff around and different places to sit. Went on the weekend for the live music show and the DJ is amazing. Played to music that catered to the crowd and pumped people up. I even saw him talking to some of the guests. I also saw they have a good looking food menu so i want to go back and check it out!
Okay covid is about to endi think and ppl are all getting vaxed. I was walking my dog drinking at parks w my friends and we stumbled upon good ole Clinton's. We asked if it was cool to bring my dog and the staff absolutely welcomed us and it felt so good. They brought my dog water and treats as well. We all felt so welcomed. I remember coming to Clinton's pre pandemic for drinks, burgers and fries. Now according to rumours it's Korean owned? At least the menu reflects it. The korean food was ok but you cant go wrong with some soju w some beers. Overall I'm very impressed with the service and the change to the venue. It fits the neighbourhood and makes it cool. Thanks, Clinton's staff! [Update] came again after the pleasant first visit after new ownership and tried out some of the food. The bibimbap was rly goooood
great local place that's been a staple of the annex for years, now under new management. it's a lot like the old Clinton's, but better. Decent beer selection, and really good food. They have a huge selection of skewers grilled right out front, and a covered patio. They've painted the interior and it's even more cozy than before. They have a dance floor out back that's as packed as ever.
The food was meh, but holy 18$ for a very tiny plate of pork belly that i can get for 5$ from the grocery store? That's what i called upcharge! Also the service was really slow, they had 4 tables to serve in the patio and 2 was already eating, and the food takes almost an hour to arrive. Not sure if we will come again.
Great service with a knowledgeable and friendly bar tender. We ordered from the Clinton's menu and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Great place for apps and good beer.Food: 5/5
We went here for the 90/2000 dance party and were shocked at how bad the DJ was. The DJ was doing nothing different than what an iPod on shuffle mode would have done, right down to the awkward silences between songs. This could be a fun event if they get a better DJ. It's a decent dance area, but mor seating would be nice too. The actual bar part of this venue is solid.
