"In 1990 we started by subletting a small space within a stereo shop hence the name The Grooveyard also considered Sound Garden. The store has always been downtown Penticton and enters it’s 30th year of operation in 2020. What started as a record store has come full circle since vinyl has made a comeback and is a main staple of today’s sales. The music industry has changed over the years along with the way people acquire their music; however, nothing replaces having a physical copy of your favorite artist or the natural warm sound of a record.The Grooveyard offers an impressive selection of new and used LPs, CDs, DVDs plus rock and pop culture merchandise. For over 30 years The Grooveyard has been Penticton’s cool and funky record shop."

Great record store, great selection and if they don't have what you are looking for they will get in for you. Knowledge staff and they are very helpful. This was my first time in the physical store, I don't live in Penticton, but have ordered from their online store many times.

Was able to get an uncommon record with them online at an excellent price including shipping. Their customer service is excellent, extremely helpful. Couldn't be happier, will absolutely be buying from them again.

Amazing service and  spectacular selection of things to tickle your music tastes in the store. An absolute must see for yourself when in Penticton. They even ordered some desired treasures for me. Vive la neighborhood record store

Great local music store, truly a pillar of our lovely community. Good selection of vinyl and cd's, as well as movies and apparel.

I bought a dvd online, and it came a lot faster than I expected; in great condition too! I live fairly far away but I'd love to visit in person sometime

Awesome selection, great fair prices and super friendly staff!

Don't ever order online. I ordered my record online and then was told they were out of stock over a month later!! then was told I was  the seventh person in line getting the record and he did not know if I would have to wait over a year to get it and didn't seem to care. Run and go somewhere else trust me save your time and money!!!

They are well versed on old records    and willing to help I am a Dj and play old country Stacy will let me know when they get any.

Super friendly and superb customer service! This is my second time ordering from them because their vinyl selection is incredible! I found everything on my list AND they were able to get limited edition items for me! They kept me updated on some vinyls that were hard to get and after a while I was able to get my hands on them! I 110% recommend them! Everything went smoothly and swiftly. Items came wrapped individually and all were new + amazing quality! Great communication, overall a great experience! :-
