The Green Door Cafe

Happy to have found this gem. We quickly stopped for lunch on our way to Tobermory. We did a take out option. Food is real damn good! Highly recommend. The seating was just about full, which is a good sign. Mushroom and Q burger was bang on! The salads with skewer chicken were a hit.nAll round, stop here for a meal….

As someone with celiac, I highly recommend the Green Door Cafe. I have eaten there twice now, with no reaction. The staff are knowledgeable about celiac disease and they have a separate fryer for gluten free items! Both times I had their smash burger and it is delicious! My family also enjoyed their smash burger, and fish and chips. I recommend making a reservation as they are very busy.

By far the most delicious mushroom plate I've ever had. Get it basically every time unless they have a special that catches my eye! Great team in there, quick, delicious and friendly. Highly recommend you come try them out!

We came for dinner after a long day of hiking in Bruce Peninsula, and wanted to have a yummy dinner! After doing some research we came across of The Green Door Cafe, and it absolutely hit the spot. It was exactly what we were looking for! We had the burger with upgrade to poutine and the BBQ chicken wrap with Caesar salad and it was great! Side note, I probably had the best beer I’ve ever had in Canada since I moved almost 10 years ago. It is served so COLD and in an equally cold glass which makes the experience so gratifying!! Recommending this spot to anyone who wants a very nice meal!!
