Canada Life awful customer service, do not even list an email or address on their websitethis is currently listed as greatwestlife but the website redirects to Canada Life, your profit not a customer to this company. Am still negotiating a claim made 5 months ago and all their responses do not let you contact the person you dealt with back, you have to go back through their awful call center

My husband just spent 40 minutes waiting to speak to someone for general assistance and finally gave up. This was at 2pm on a Tuesday. Awful customer service for such a large company- please do better.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My employer uses them and so I’ve been covered by this company for the past few years. They literally do everything they possibly can to deny any claim you submit. I have to fight every single time to get any money back, even when it’s very clear I’m entitled to it. I truly believe it’s their policy to deny a claim the first time in hopes that the customer will give up because I’m almost always able to get the money in the end, it’s just requires several infuriating phone calls. My previous employer had Alberta Blue Cross and I always thought it was meh. But now, I realize how amazing ABC actually was. If you have a choice, do not go with Great West Life. It’s basically a scam.

Very poor service, try to register in groupnet but wont let me in its always say it's not me,my information wont recognize, please call the technical support yeah I called them December 27,2019 couple times, I spoke to different individual representatives got all this tikets for my complaint, dont even remember how many tikets and person I spokeand deal with it over the phone, till now but dont even resolve my issue, whats going on to tour administration, how many hours days should I spend to call you guys to resolve this issue. Im still waiting for your response to resolve my issue, and please train your representative over the phone because they have different idea on filling infornation on group net but so far everyone failed to resolve my issue. Tecbnical support issue until now commom admin.

Calling this place to try and deal with anything is a nightmare. You are constantly talking to the wrong person, and need to get transferred. After 2 hours I finally got what I needed from them so it's not 1 star.

Waited for 1.h and 50 minutes to talk with someone...They better improve their customer service because now it's really bad..

Even when you submit all receipts of proof and all required documentation they still take a month to pay you for the coverage under your policy. My advice is to shop around with other companies before you go with them.

Great West Life is a great insurance company. The odd time you get someone who answers the phones who rude but other than that they are good.

Service is so bad. Called twice and waited 15mins or more and never got an operator. You guys need to improve.
