A wonderful experience! The Granite is a staple in Bancroft and its always frequented by locals and tourists alike. Their food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. Definitely must get their Moscow Mule as their ginger beer is top notch. Wings are tasty and the salad portion is big. Alex was our server and she checked on us constantly. She joked with us and made us feel at home. We will be back just for her!
We bumped into this on the road to Ottawa. The spinach and artichoke dip was amazing - very cheesy without being overwhelming though the friend bread-looking things were a bit too oily for our tastes. The striploin was very yummy even well done at the request of our table. I didn't even remember to take pictures before starting to eat! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options seem limited to salads, but they're pretty tasty ones.
After disappointment with 2 other places this past month with regards to their pulled pork, this place by far exceeded my expectations! The bun was perfectly seasoned with salty and sweet flavour profiles and the BBQ pulled pork was the most tender I’ve had other than a BBQ smoke house. Fries were top notch quality clearly can tell. Great service with quite a few gluten free options.
Food is nice and the view on the patio is amazing. Great service overall. I would give a 5 stars if the price is a bit lower.
Beautiful spot up on the hill, it was all decorated for Christmas when we ate there. There looked to be a nice patio too, we will have to return in the spring time. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are filling! Kid-friendliness: Change tables in both bathrooms and high chair with strap was available. Dietary restrictions: GF options clearly marked.
Absolutely delicious!! We had the California salad, the firecracker shrimp, the fried onion petals and nachos. Everything was a 10/10. Portions were large, flavour in everything was awesome! Will definitely come back the next time we are in Bancroft!
Food was good and our waitress was quite nice, as well as the lady who seated us. We sat on the patio and luckily we got there before the line up at 6 on a Thurs. Overall nice experience.
Stop in on the sleds this winter. Easy to get too and great service. Food was great and beer was tasty. I had a great burger with fries and gravy. Affordable for the county since being on a snowmbile costs lots. Clean and space for your snowmobile gear, washrooms were up to date. Parking was easy for the sleds.
Ate dinner here over Easter Weekend. Gluten free chicken tenders some of the best I've ever had. Wife says pulled pork sandwich wasn't quite sweet enough, but that might be her sweet tooth talking - garden salad was excellent. Good quite atmosphere without too loud of music. Waitress friendly and helpful. Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options
Ate here two nights in a row in December. Service was the best and a big thanks to Alex and Kelly. The food was delicious and the prices are good. I had the Chicken Curry and my husband had the Three Sausage Variety Plate. You need to try the creme brulee. It is the best that I have ever had. The second night was wing night, so we enjoyed those also. Definitely give this place a try if in Bancroft Parking: Lots of snow when we were there plus a Christmas party, so we had to look for a parking spot. It was definitely worth the walk!!
