This place is a hidden gem. A bit on the pricey side, but I have to say the steak was the best I've ever had. it was so tender and juicy you could cut it with a spoon. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff too. I will definitely be visiting again.

WHAT TO TRY?? The steak is a popular dish here. Sitting at just 7 ounces, you can appreciate the sides to the dish as well. The gnocchi is also a good appetizer. They don’t use potato in their gnocchi so they taste softer without the grainy texture. The salmon is not bad too. You get it medium rare which usually is not a common way of cooking the salmon. But I personally prefer it medium rare because then you don’t have the salmon overly cooked and dry. It’s like a pan seared salmon but it’s just lightly rare in the center. Their famous dessert is the coconut cream pie. This restaurant is actually owned by two of the partners for Scaramouche so their famous coconut cream pie is also served here! You don’t have to go downtown for a taste of the pie anymore. This place is really cozy and have a back country feel of an ambiance. This restaurant is inside a house that is over a hundred years old and it’s relatively tucked away with all the houses that surround this restaurant. Great restaurant to go to if you want a great dinner but don’t want the attention of the city life distracting your night. LAST TIP?! I recommend to make reservations because this restaurant is not that big and fills up pretty quickly for dinner! Book for your special occasions like a birthday or an anniversary.

I usually dislike eating steak at restaurants but I took the chance and ordered it at this place... absolutely exquisite. Not to mention that the service was amazing as well. I had a wonderful experience here and will definitely come again. I recommend this place to anyone for a small gathering with friends or family.

Wow, incredible food. Each meat has its special preparation for that menu. Usually a plat, soup, a d cheese du jour. Great wine list. The coconut cream pie is to die for (which apparently you can take-out with24 hours notice). Mashed potatoes to kill for. Absolutely drool worthy scallops. Must visit! Upscale dining. Nice looking patio for the summer.

Loved the food...however management was not going to let us eat a pie at the table we had ordered to take home because...they wouldn't be able to charge us $14 a slice that way. We booked a 5:30 reservation and was told that we would need to leave by 8pm for a reservation. Because of this we ordered a pie ahead of time which is required if you would like to take one home. We were having coffee by 7:30pm so we figured let's just eat the pie here. That's when we were told we couldn't do it because we paid the take home price for the pie as opposed to the ala carte price. Needless to say we were shocked and very disappointed when the manager told us it was specifically because they would lose money and that people had been doing it frequently. We reminded him that we had brought two of our own bottles of wine for which we paid a $25 corkage for each... $50 pure profit on a $600 bill for 3 couples celebrating a 50th birthday party... Happened to be our first trip there too. In the end the manager relented however he wasn't happy about it. As I said the food was amazing however considering the hospitality experience I don't see us going back.
