About

The Shepherd's Crook is a traditional pub-restaurant in the heart of downtown Georgetown, near the intersection of Main and Mill Street. It's housed in a designated stone building, erected in 1879.

Story

We have daily lunch and dinner chalkboard specials. Our 19 draught taps pour a selection of local brews and imports, including one cask-conditioned real ale from our traditional pull handle. Join us Friday nights for live music, and Wednesday nights for the jam session.

I was really disappointed with their cheese baked cabbage rolls. As a regular here I love most of their menu but sometimes the choices are just wrong . The cabbage rolls tasted like chef boyardee and not really worth the price. 2 small cabbage rolls, too much tomato sauce .. a real disappointment. Their lasagna on the other hand outstanding!

Great place. Great food. Great Irish music usually on a Friday night. Only bad thing is the cold wind coming in whenever anyone opens the door. They should have an alcove to come into first.

A favoured eating spot of mine in Georgetown. Serves Irish themed for the most part with daily specials. A good selection of beers from local micro breweries. My wife and I make regular visits to this area - first to Glen Williams to browse Beaumont's Collectibles and visit the awesome and creative glassblowers at the nearby Co-Op. Tara (mine) and Skytree (my wife's) favourite. The talent of these artists is truly out of this world. Second stop on our list is Main Street in Georgetown to visit Dini and Co. Shop. Local artists, flowers and unique gifts to fit any price range. Dini Lamers is a true gem. Just a couple of blocks down the street is the Shepherd's Crook. Lunch before heading back to Mississauga (Clarkson). Today we each had bowls of homemade garlic cauliflower soup and split a large well filled wrap. Plus, of course, a pint to wash it down. Excellent service. Bill was approx. $35.

Great place. It feels like a home. They serve locally brewed beer. Very good. The food is good and the service is polite and friendly. I will visit again.
