Counter service this morning made me feel as if I was a distraction from the other jobs being done. There was no pizza made so early as eight this morning, so was sold some unidentified pizza from the fridge. Reheated, but since the server was too busy with what she was doing the pizza was burnt. She also brought it to me on a plate when I asked for a box, when I confirmed my request again, I was made to feel like I was needlessly taking up her time. Proper service was desired, next time I will think twice about returning.
Dec 19 2022 5:30pm The girl at the counter has absolutely horrible customer service. I asked how much a slice of pizza is because the sign out front looks like "slice 2.60" when a slice is 4.88$. So if I was to get 2 slices it would be 10$ so I asked how much a small pizza is. She responded "ugh! It would be about a 20 min wait because we have a lot of orders" ... like ok I didn't ask that.. I asked how much a small was. If I am ordering a pizza I would expect it to be at least a 15 to 20 min wait. She seemed like I was such an inconvenience to her. She was huffing and puffing with each of the 3 questions I asked. I ended up just getting 1 slice because she was so horrible. Pizza tasted good but severely overpriced compared to the endless fresh dough shops on the mainland. Also I would change your slice 2go sign because it looks like slice 2.60 Will probaby not go back. Very disapointed.
We tried your pizza a year ago when we were visiting Campbell River and thought it was excellent. We were back up again this year and it was our first stop for a meal out. The pizza was terrible. It was doughy and didn’t appear to be cooked all the way through. What we remembered the year before was the taste and smell of garlic but not this time. We even tried cooking it in our oven but it was still doughy. We probably won’t try it again. Very disappointing! Sue and Scott, Victoria BC
Great tasting pizza with the freshest ingredients. Ordered ahead and picked up in 20 minutes. Medium 'Oyster River Special' was $34 taxes included.
This used to be the best pizza around. Not so much now. For a $36 BBQ chicken pizza, there should be more than a scant scattering of dried up and tiny, wizzled pieces of chicken. So disappointing. Never again.
Great little jem of a place in Saratoga. Open super early for those early risers. Very friendly staff. Awesome smoothies and truly awesome cinnamon buns. If you are driving through stop by. Oh and they bake all their stuff there. And did I tell you their pizza is also awesome?
So this was my first taste of islander pizza and it didn't disappoint. The crust wasn't to crunchy, the sauce had good taste, there was a good amount of toppings and cheese and was delicious. Definitely recommend 8/10
Cinnamon buns baked fresh - but only 6! Maybe order ahead or we trolled in and bought all of them hot out of the oven at 9am. Yummy cream cheese icing!
Drove from Courtenay to get one of your renowned brekky pizzas. we were not disappointed. Quick service in spite of crowds. Flavor and texture perfect. How do you do it? You should be world famous. At least Island famous. Keep up the great tradition. Thx
five stars Slice a pizza and a coffee $8 or gluten free crust pizza and baked goods $4 my grandma would swear she made 100 years ago. Best pizza for $20-$30 ever. Friendly staff. Close to racing and Monster truck rides go carts and beaches.
