Love this place! Super friendly staff, great food, and relively cheap pricing. In the past, the food has been a little cold, and have had some burnt toast, but honestly, the foods still great tasting! Lovely log cabin setting, always a relaxing environment, and although the service can be a little slow during the rush, it's honestly not bad at all. Sure, if you don't like your food a little cold on the off chance it IS cold, mind you, this might not be the place for you. And, should you be in a rush and can't afford to wait for service, this place also offers pre-made soups and sandwiches, so you can stop in, get your food, and leave in under 10 minutes. Totally would recommend this amazing place to anyone!
This is my go to in Campbell River. Farm fresh eggs for breakfast, very generous serving, homemade sauces, healthy lunch choices. Yummy' Great Service'.Food: 5/5
We came here for a family reunion brunch on Mother's Day and were not disappointed! This is a beautiful restaurant, log-cabin style, with delicious food at a good price. Our server was warm and friendly, always making sure our coffee mugs and water glasses were full, and I would definitely come again. Gorgeous wood carvings in the lobby as well. Try any of the Eggs Benedict!
Unique log cabin style family restaurant in Campbell River BC. Food was decent. Wife had the chicken burger, i had salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and a few veg. Wife gave me her bun as my meal didn't come with any thing to mop up the gravy!! Lol..the fried chicken in her meal was really good though!
Friendly staff, fantastic log cabin atmosphere with good music in the background soft classic rock with amazing home cooked meals. I had the Veggie Eggs Benny & it was fantastic! Vegetarian options: Not many vegan but decent vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Family Friendly Parking: Easy Parking Wheelchair accessibility: Ground Floor, Wheelchair accessible door.
Our waitress was rude, the food wasn’t great and took for ever. I asked for a ginger ale and she said she didn’t have any later to see up at the counter that there was in fact gingerale in the fridge. I’m not going back and won’t be recommending to go here.
Popsey's is basically my go-to if I am in Campbell River. They do a good, solid breakfast that will set you up nicely for a day of exploring the island. Kid-friendliness: It is a very family-friendly spot. Parking: A large parking lot that will even accommodate RV's if necessary. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with no steps and wide doorways.
Popsey's was recommended by a friend for their delicious Eggs Benedict! She wasn't wrong, they were awesome tasting. Unfortunately our food was cold when it was delivered to our table 40 minutes later. The Eggs Benny still tasted great; just cold, lol. The log cabin style restaurant was clean, neat, and tidy, and I applaud the staff for showing up to work in these stressful times we find ourselves in. Thanks Popsey's !
Great breakfast, set us up for the day. I had a delicious Popsey's omelette, my wife had the vegetable omelette.
Such a cute little restaurant! The ladies were so nice and the food was good!
