Loved this place: the food, the place, the waiter. This place is located in the old port and opened about 1 year ago even less. They have a big wine menu. They have a brunch/lunch and supper menu. We went there for supper we had the flecon special which was so good, the fish was well cooked and all the ingredients were so good together, the sauce and all, the perfect combination We also got the duck and it was so tender, it was amazing. The oysters were fresh We got the peach crumble as dessert but it wasn't good at all, it was a load of whipped cream on top, even tho it seemed homemade there was this weird taste to it and also the peaches were not really ripped. I would not get that when I return Overall this place is good for food and drinks, especially if you are a wine lover. I would just skip the dessert for next time. This place has this comfy vibe with couches and pillows. Definitely a cute place to go with small groups. I definitely recommend to try this place at least once
Some of us like to sleep in on a Sunday morning but we at Best Quests just love going to the old port early for a beautiful, delicious brunch. We had as usual way too much food. The variety was excellent and so carefully prepared I mean, look at those pictures! accentuated with a mimosa maybe basic but always a necessary classic for brunch and ended with a lovely espresso martini Speaking of mimosas... they offer bottomless ones for the morning/day drinkers out there.
Came for brunch on a Saturday morning around 11:30 and to my surprise there were still many tables available. Coffee was really good and the service too. The food however was only okay. The salmon toast was drenched in olive oil and made the bread really soggy. The pancakes were tasty but the strawberries on top were also soggy and extremely sour. Nevertheless, this is still a nice place to grab coffee or cocktails and hangout, but if you’re looking to eat there are many other brunch spots worth going to.
Run, don’t walk. This wine/tapas bar is seriously the best food I had in all of Montreal. And that’s saying something. I wish I could take the chef to the states will me. Excellent music & ambiance. The wait staff are just so friendly and nice. I cannot recommend this place more. Seriously you need to eat here!
Great place for weekend brunch. Samantha served us and got us the unlimited mimosas. She was all positive vibes and smiles. Such a great place to hang out.
Amazing brunch. Friendly service. Cozy decor. And you can reserve a table online big plus!. We'll definitely come back to try the dinner menu.
Bright and airy, Buvette Pastek, was a very inviting spot for our New Year's Eve breakfast. On Notre Dame West in Old Montreal, has a slim but satisfying breakfast/brunch selection...from classic eggs, to smoked salmon, and one of the best fluffy pancakes I have had in a long time. The tables are quite small, although they offer a low side table to put accessories on; but the rest of the bisto is warm and inviting. If lucky to get a seat at the front, their large window offers so nice people-viewing opportunities as pedestrians stroll along Notre-Dame. Just a nice place to sit, chill and enjoy some time with friends.
Brilliant Relaxed Christmas parties shouting Staff amazing Perfect cocktails Perfect beers Music not too loud Chef gave me a birthday cake even though there was nothing on the menu. Highly recommend
Cocktails were good but there was a very limited menu, considering the sign said cocktails and wine. The small plates were fine, we had a burrata. Waitress seemed like she wanted us to leave since we weren't ordering much. Expensive for what it was.
Food was good. The only dish that stood out was this juicy duck dish. Servers were nice but a bit slow
