Monster Melts & Cravens Coffee

Stopped here after a backpacking trip in Central Washington. My hiking partner got a tuna melt, and really liked that there was little to no mayo, and it wasn't greasy at all. Smelled delicious on my end. I got an Americano, and it is some of the best espresso I've had -- not bitter at all. Free WiFi and board games you can play. Cafe is super clean, with plenty of space to sit, and very quick and friendly staff and service. Lots of street parking nearby. I'll be stopping here if I'm ever in the Ellensburg area again!

Every time I've gone, the service is always friendly and attentive, even if there are several people waiting at once. The food is great comfort food, whether you're getting a sandwich or a snack or dessert. Their drinks are pretty great too, and pretty customizable if you just ask the servers. I love the remodeling, the establishment looks even better than it used to. I also love that the store stocks new art on the walls for sale every so often. They're interesting pieces to look at, and they make the shop feel really cozy.

I have seen this place for awhile now and have really been wanting to try it. I went with my roommate last weekend and it is really good. I try to eat vegan as much as possible and they have two vegan sandwiches that change daily. Their vegan sandwiches are amazing! I don't remember which sandwich my roommate got, but he said it was really good. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a student discount.

It's great! Good food, nice people. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new place to eat.

They were super awesome last year. Then some of their new employees just didn't know how to make a coffee. Forgot my order like 3 times as I reminded that it was soy, a mocha has chocolate, and then they made my iced drink by first steaming the milk. It was weird. I gave them a break hoping it would improve. I guess I waited too long to give them another chance because now they are only open super late. It was a nice place to study and played good music.

Lunch with my friends was really great! The food was good, and the service was good. We all enjoyed our sandwiches. And the kids had a great time playing with the games, upstairs, on the shelves. They had many to choose from. Much more fun than sitting around listening to us reminisce. The place is alot smaller than I had expected. It felt a little crowded and there were only a couple of other customers. It looked crowded even behind the counter and in the kitchen. Since all the sandwiches are pre- made, and ready to go onto the hot press, our food was ready pretty quickly. That was a very nice change from so many of the other restaurants in town. I will definitely go there again.

Delicious sandwiches, a very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff members. Also, if you're a student at CWU you get a 10% discount! I love eating here. Would especially recommend the traditional grilled cheese and beefy bacon Bigfoot sandwiches.

I left before ever ordering. One of the ladies working there acted like a spoiled child that didn't want to be there. You could almost taste the negativity. I really do not ever want to eat something prepared by someone that doesn't want to be there. I have had some very bad experiences with those types. And I have Had some very bad food from there before that. Hard bread on the grilled cheese, and I had to throw it away. When asked for a chai, they would make a dirty chai. Not worth going to at all. It was really nice when it first opened. But service has gone downhill since their new hires. To bad, since they have the tastiest coffee in town. No burnt taste to it, like everyone else.

A great eatery with a wide selection of delicious sandwiches for any budget. From Ruebens to grilled cheese, you can find a great melt here that is always served by a staff that is both friendly and quick! A must visit for any local and a great travel spot for anyone passing through.

everything tastes great! However they dont really have everything figured out. we ordered a 16 oz iced coffee blended and they put way too much ice in the blender so when they poured it back in the cup half the coffee I paid for was left in the blender and we got a cup of ice.. Next they seemed to be out of everything and then said well we had a busy day yesterday, why didnt they make more in the morning? why am I eating a stale 2 day old + sandwich?
