One of the hidden gems of Calgary and about as close as your going to get to an authentic English pub. Its is a comfortable and relaxed pub off the main road. A good place to spend time to chat with friends and take in a game or read a book. A good selection of beers and food on the menu. Staff are friendly and unobtrusive.
My wife's chicken club was very tough could not bite it off, tried a steak knife but still difficult. We both had a salad which was good. I had a BLT and the rye bread was not fresh. Service was fine a long with our drinks.
can't wait til the world gets back to normal so I can go back to Calgary and get me some Dog & Duck. John, Mary and Kayla are absolutely amazing and I miss the down home hospitality and atmosphere. Best wings in all of YYC !
Food was excellent. Service was fantastic. Marie was our server.
Delicious food at a reasonable cost. Also very quaint vibe which was refreshing. #supportlocal
4 of us dined here, and we all enjoyed our meals. Would definitely recommend the pickle fries. Prices are quite reasonable. Fish and chips, burgers, wraps and fish tacos were all really good. Generous portions too!
Very traditional pub with a homey vibe, traditional fare and good music. Would recommend.
Great homemade food! Cozy little spot with great ambience.
