I gave one start less for the rooms because they dont have a microwave or a fridge inside the rooms. There is access to a microwave which is located in the common area for guest use. They also have 2 water dispensers which I found to come out really slow but it is a nice added touch for any hotel in the north. If you plan to have a meal at the granite restaurant located inside the hotel, be sure to make a reservation. We did and it was efficient. They serve brunch on Sundays with time slots. It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect. But I gotta say the selections were impressive. The brunch was buffet style so bring your appetite. They had Sliced duck, smoked salmon, two kinds of cold salad. Ribs, dumplings, roast beef, eggs Benedict, vegetables, lots of bacon and sausages, mussels, shrimp, steamed rice. A nice dessert table with assorted cheese cakes and fresh fruit. They have a station for omelets as well as fresh waffles. They offer breakfast juices as well. We enjoyed the food. And the service was friendly from start to finish. The bill came to $100+ food only after taxes. And we decided to add a tip of $40. Yes, it is pricey like most have mentioned but things aren't cheap anymore. We'll be sure to try it again in the future. Thanks.
It's an older hotel with pretty clean rooms and friendly staff.
Mother’s Day Brunch – DisappointednWe came for brunch on Mother’s Day—two adults and two toddlers ages 2 and 3. While we expected higher prices on a special day, the cost for the kids—who barely ate anything—was hard to justify.nnThe food was decent but not memorable, and the overall value didn’t match the price point. We chose not to leave a tip, which clearly upset the staff. But at these prices, and with no standout service or experience, gratuity should be earned, not assumed.
Went to that restaurant today with a friendnI took the greek salad with a 15$ piece of char.nWorst ever, they gave me a tiny tail , complained and they came with a similar tiny tail.nMy friend had overcooked pork.nSo overratednNever again
My favorite place in town for a good lunch and a fancy dinner. The food is always great, the service is friendly and consistent. I love that the server recognizes me every time. Their brunch is definitely the best in town with lots of choices. The food is fresh and the daily lunch menu is affordable.
