Mike and Rosita, who are the new owners of this restaurant, were very hospitable and nice. We ordered the eggs Benny and I substituted my bacon for turkey and Mike happily accommodated. Rosita did a great job with the interior design and looks drastically different than what it previously looked like. Minor details: The food quality was good, no option for alternative milks and eggs Benny was not runny, it was a bit overdone but overall food was great!
Literally one of the tastiest eggs Benny I’ve ever had! Not only was it super delicious, it was a hot, fresh and generous portion. The fact that everyone working there is so incredibly kind and sweet only made the experience more wonderful. I wish I could eat this everyday!Food: 5/5
This morning at 9:15, when I pass by Viking Way in Richmond, I find a small cafe to have my breakfast. It is not busy when I arrived, at first the boss is very nice at the counter to take my order, instead of having breakfast, I see the daily special which is chicken pasta with soup only around $18, it is a good deal. The butternut squash soup is very creamy and tasty but a little bit cold inside, I think maybe the soup is not yet ready for breakfast. The chicken penne is good too, the portion is just enough even for lunch. Overall, I would recommend this kind of cafe to the one who doesn’t like too crowded, just relaxing to enjoy life.
I absolutely love this place. I stumbled upon it when I was driving to a different address and thought I'd stop by. It looks like your old school Ma and Pa joint. Nice cozy little spot. The menu was great, and they had several options for breakfast and lunch. The sandwiches, soup, coffee, and everything else are highly recommended and feel homemade. Everything was made fresh and is family owned. The staff were nice and knowledgeable. Everything about this place is a gem. Will be a repeat customer.
Wonderful hidden gem. Had the smash burger with bacon. Very satisfying. Everything was very fresh and had good quality ingredients. Server and owner were so nice and welcoming. You can tell they have a lot of passion. Unique menu with lots of breakfast and lunch options. Will have to come back a few times to try them all!
perfect hidden gem, super cozy family run spot! the owners, mike and rozita are so warm and welcoming - I love coming here when I visit vancouver. the decor is lovely, especially the plants! the food is fresh and comforting. My favourites on the menu are the sandwiches, soups, chow mein, and last time I was there i had a delicious pasta feature - always a treat!
Was here on 14/3/2023 The owners are a Persian couple who showed nice hospitality with the wife approaching customers from time to time to ask if we have any need and whether the food was satisfactory. The veggies in the salad were very fresh. The soup barely had salty taste and the natural flavour and freshness of the ingredients were even more palpable. By the time we finished the food we ordered, she gifted us two pieces of cakes and two cups for self-service coffee.
Red Garden Café was a great find in this sterile industrial area. The food was tasty, made with fresh, pure ingredients. The atmosphere was clean and both cozy and elegant, with comfy wood chairs, warm lighting that didn’t glare, and gorgeous orchids and other great plants like the Swiss cheese plant. Talking with the very personable hosts, Rozita and Mike, made us feel like we were in a well-loved neighbourhood. Alert: they will be bringing exciting additions to the menu over the next few months - stay tuned! And check it out, a mere four minutes drive from IKEA! Also, did I mention Rozita is also an artist? Great service. Honest, family owned business. We weren’t sure about the exchange rate and only had US $$. The owner gave us correct charge and explained the exchange rate. The chicken fried rice with Teriyaki chicken was really good.
When I searched on the Google map, I thought it's a hidden gem in Richmond. However, it was quite disappointed. Butter chicken was very dry even if the sauce was ok. And smashed burger wasn't like the real smashed burger. Only acceptable food.Food: 3/5
