Here at The Daily Scoop Cafe, we serve breakfast & lunch, as well as ice cream!
Our breakfast menu is served daily from 6:30 am to 1:30 p.m Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 1:30 pm Saturday and Sunday
Our lunch menu is a Sandwich & Soup Bar. All our sandwiches are prepared on local bakery breads, topped with fresh ingredients of choice!

You can add a soup or chilli to the side, and maybe a coffee or milkshake!
mmmmmmm! I'm getting hungry!

We also offer catering!

The food was good, the ice cream was delicious, and the prices were very good. But the reason I'm giving five stars is for the AMAZING staff. Went in for lunch and the staff was phenomenal. I had my toddler with us and the staff made his day. They were super friendly and went above and beyond to make him happy. 

I've been to several restaurants where the staff seems fake friendly but everyone  (and it really was everyone) just seemed so genuinely nice. It left a VERY positive impression on my family.

And thank you Mike for the balloon animal!

Love this place.. best breakfast, real local maple syrup, maple beans and fresh fruit. Yummy

This is now our favourite breakfast spot. Super friendly, excellent quality food, and fantastic coffee.

I was in Almonte for an appointment and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat.  The staff were very welcoming and quick to serve.  The owner even let me use their hydro and wifi so I could do some work while I waited to go to my appointment.  The food was excellent and the coffee was great.  I would definitely come back again.

This is a nice homey atmosphere with an outstanding breakfast.  Unless you book ahead you might not find a seat at breakfast time.  The Daily Scoop is home to several groups both formal and informal that meet there for breakfast regularly.  Prices are reasonable but not the lowest priced breakfast in the area, however the meals are hearty, plain and flavourful. Highly recommended!
