Fall River Restaurant

We ordered the curry chicken poutine. What showed up was a crime scene. Barely warm fries with some luke warm chicken curry on top. It was full of aromatics cardamom pods, spice sticks, lime leaves, etc that we had to pick out of the sauce. It was topped with shredded Colby Jack cheese that had been melted on to it.nnSave yourself the $20.

I wish I could give less stars. I was incredibly disappointed by the food, the cost, the service, the smell even! The whole inside smelt like mildew ; just imagine a wet basement. We met up there with friends as it was close to a provincial park we were going to for the day, and NEVER again. The food was pricey! 18.99$ for a poutine? 3 of us ordered a turkey sandwich which clearly had ham, only to be told, it's not ham. The waitress didn't check on us, an another waitress had to go get her for her to give us our bill. Splitting the bill was a hassle. Honestly, we were really looking forward to it as the reviews seemed good but I was utterly disappointed. I do not recommend the stop.

Stopped in for breakfast. It took 50 minutes from sitting down to get coffee brought to the table and a food order placeddespite the restaurant being about one-quarter full. The wait and slow-serving time seemed to be a common theme across the 5 or 6 tables with patrons. Admittedly there was only a single server working but it wasn’t nearly busy enough for such slow service. After finally getting the coffee we were given dirty mugs gross and then the food arrived 30 minutes later borderline cold/lukewarm. A quick stop turned into an hour and a half waste of time. Would not recommend this place at all.

We had been to this location before, but the new owners have made it memorable. The meals were tasty, had generous portions, and the restaurant itself was nice and clean. They even had a nice outdoor seating courtyard tucked between the buildings with a lovely fountain,

A nice little gem on the way to the cottage. I had the Fall River burger, my wife had the chicken curry. Both were delicious. The service was very friendly, and timely. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area.
