I had never had Pakistani food and we LOVED this place! Was so authentic and a wonderful friendly ambiance with fun and lovely Pakistani inspired modern decor and the food was AMAZING! I will go out if my way to go again. To boot it is LOCAL FAMILY OWNED by a lovely young couple! He cooks and she is the MOST LOVELY HOST! The special hot and cold drinks were a wonderful experience and I loved how Nageenah explained the foods and drinks. She was so nice and made the whole dining experience not only delicious but fun!
Great Pakistani cuisine! The atmosphere is intimate yet cosmopolitan and the food is amazing! If you like spices, this is the place to be! Everything is perfectly done and tastes wonderful. My family and I have had almost everything on their menu and were now repeat customers! Delight your taste with their great meals!
A true hidden gem in Calgary for beautiful Pakistani/Indian cuisine. This is not your regular run of the mill kind of restaurant, it is upscale and classy with a innovative menu to match. I had the good fortune to visit the Curryer with a friend, now I am a fan. We had lamb Nihari and chicken... truly finger licking good. I heard the lamb nihari was cooked overnight to get that fall-of-the-bones tenderness and great taste. I will definitely visit it again and try all their menu items. Great ambiance and presentation, service was quick and efficient.
One of the best authentic Pakistani restaurants in Calgary with a magnificent interior It was a great experience. The food was delicious and flavorful. We ordered almost a buffet on our table, Mixed Kabob Plate comes with beef kabobs, Chicken Tikka and  Fish Tikka, Beef Nihari, Butter Chicken, Peshwari Channay and Chicken Biryani, everything was finger-licking tasty so good in fact, from quality to quantity. We tried their specialty drinks of Rooh Afsa Soda and Anar twist both were so replenishing but my favourite was Rooh Afsa Soda which was super refreshing and we finished it off with the Karak Chay. I must say it was the best Karak Chay I had in any restaurant Overall it was a fabulous night and the owner Naghma was so nice. Definitely visiting again
The decor. The ambience. The environment. It’s all AMAZING! Rarely do you find an authentic Pakistani restaurant with good food and good decor. This place has it all. You need to try the Korma and Rooh Afsa soda! Seriously mind-blowing! For a detailed review, check out my Instagram @WanderingInYYC
The location and interior are very nice and aesthetically pleasing. I wished the food was as great as how great everything looked. I was told they make everything fresh, but that wasn't the case on my visit. The meat in the biryani was dry maybe couple days old since you can tell how fresh things look and taste. The taste was also disappointing. A bit more on the mild side. The karahi was okay, again not fresh as told, and naans were good. Service was alright - it was a little hard to flag down staff members down at times. The rooh afza soda was delicious and worth trying. Overall, a bit disappointing but not completely terrible.
Excellent Pakistani/ India food in town. Great value for money, lovely music , ambiance, customer service and food is delicious at a very affordable value. Very nice food presentation and a nice outside terrace although we sat inside. Highly recommended ! I will be back for sure!
Stopped in for dinner tonight and was pleasantly surprised with the offerings on the menu. We ordered the beef korma and butter chicken, along with samosas and finished with fresh and warm gulab jamun for dessert. The curry had great depth of flavor, and generous portion sizes. The prices are great and well valued. The customer service was welcoming, friendly, and their enthusiasm spoke volumes of the passion they have for the menu. Can't wait to go back. Update: The Kashmiri Chai is amazing. Makes for a great place to pop in for a Chai and dessert.
Nagma was fantastic , really friendly and nice although they were short of staff so she was taking care of everything so we had to wait.Food was flavourless not fresh chicken in biryani looked like 7 days old stored in Fridge.I added the picture you can see how chicken looks.These guys are just doing business no passion for food jus open these places.Prices were on high side with less quantity. Very disappointed will never go back
Samosa is my go-to!!!!!! Incredible. The server was really nice. She was proud of the food. Everything was just perfect. We are huge fans of this restaurant. Definitely visiting again.
