This place is very clean, first time here. Server was friendly. Ordered shrimp tempura and chef special starter contain spring rolls, chicken roll and ribs it all tastes same. Did not taste good. It took a while to get our order. Fried rice was okay beef and chicken was amazing giving 3 stars for overall experience.
Honestly I would have to say at first I wasn't a big fan of this place when they first opened but now I order from here 5-7 times a month they are my favourite restaurant in YYC! Plus during this month I have come almost every second day to their restaurant with both my friends and family for their Iftar buffet. The food is absolutely amazing and they provide excellent customer service every time I go. I don't know why people hate on them but you guys are doing an amazing job keep up the good work!! Ps. My favourite items I recommend are any of their soups, hakka noodles, chilli chicken, kung pao, Manchurian fried rice, Manchurian chicken gravy and you can never go wrong with their lollipop chicken soooo goooooddd!
Simply amazing. The best buffet i have ever eaten. So much variety and everything was incredibly fresh. Calgary is lucky to have this sort of halal establishment.
On my hunt for some good halal hakka chines place in Calgary I came across this place. Decided to go for lunch as it’s less crowded. Went with my family and we were the only one dining in for lunch. The place was clean and the server was very kind and helpful. We ordered for starter chicken hot and sour soup it was very salty, I felt the chef put salt twice, I informed the server as well about it. Main course was beef chilli hakka style, vegetable fried rice, american chopsoy with add on shrimps. Beef chilli and rice were okay but american chopsoy was very hot in terms of chilli level. The sauce was loaded with red chilli and my parents were unable to have it much. The serving size was good. The service was good but the food taste was a roller coaster ride for my palate. Not a very good experience.
Good food but very bad service. Only few iftaar buffet items and its tucked in the corner. Over 100 people came for iftaar and because there was one Buffett table it took us 35 mins in line to get our food and by the time our turn came, it was almost empty. They just couldn't keep up with refilling the buffet counter. Not sure why restaurants don't have 2 buffet counters when serving so many people and why don't they keep it in the middle so people can grab food from both sides.. I will never go for iftaar again.
We visited this restaurant and highly recommended for best Pakistani Chinese cuisine. Met with owner she was very down to earth, very sweet and her daughter Maryam was the prettiest girl ever. However, the server was very rude. She misbehaved with us in front of everyone, she was yelling on us and saying why you guys sat down without asking from her. Initially she moved us when we sat another table she came back and yelled again. We were so upset how we been treated in the restaurant at our first visit there and then I tried to call mangers to speak with them and she said to me, I am the manager speak with me. My husband said her you insulted us and misbehaved, we are leaving from here and she said get out from here, we do not need you here. In short very humiliating behaviour we experienced this evening but again will go back because of owners. Both mother daughter were super sweet and smiley. Just because of owner’s request we stayed there and ate food. Thank you for your hospitality.
Kind staff, good service and great tasting halal Hakka Chinese. IMO, this place is currently the best tasting halal Hakka Chinese restaurant. Disclaimer: the sign on the restaurant is wrong and google maps gave me the wrong directions to the restaurant. Walked around for a bit before finding it. Also there’s a ~30 min wait time for foodwhen they’re cooking for their buffet, so please prepare for that!
No management whatsoever. Arrogant Pakistani lady who is always right. Their daughter is not legal age to work. Check her ID. Order food and wait and listen to stories. Only halal thing about their business is the meat, their attitude and customer is below poor. Hire help and real management. No buffet prices. They’ll charge whatever. Be careful.
One of the best places to get Hakka Chinese food. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely have to come back to try out there buffet!!!
It wasn't the best Chinese food. The spice used was just 'hot'. The squid was overcooked & tough. The staff are pleasant but lack skills. It would have been nice to have chopsticks or cutlery before we managed to eat most of our appetizer using our fingers, Time lagged between appetizer & meal. I wouldn't recommend.
