Had a great experience, food was very tasty and fresh. Service staff is new and very courteous. Kudos to the staff! It was a very hot day and the AC was not working properly. Management should complain and have it fixed!
My work colleague introduced me to this restaurant today for lunch. I don’t usually drift this far away from my normal culinary favourites. But the staff at Faisal’s was phenomenal and the food was sooooo delicious. We had curry chicken and rice. The sauce was full of flavour and just the right amount of curry spice. It was so amazing that we had to use the bread to finish every ounce of sauce! One of the best lunches I’ve had recently. If you’re in the neighbourhood, I definitely recommend this small, quaint spot. You won’t be disappointed!
The mixed barbecue platter was outstanding! You get chicken tikka, fish tikka, and seekh kabob. Honestly they were all excellent - beautifully marinated and perfectly cooked and juicy. I slept in a nihari was really good much better than I've had many other places. I would have liked this the meat was a little bit more tender but still it was really well cooked. Light and fluffy naans - no need to say more.
This is hole in the wall type restaurant. Excellent food - the BBQ platter and kabab are must try. The curry and butter chicken are really good. Not too salty or greasy. The naan bread is good but not the best. Coming from a neighborhood with lots of Indian restaurants, totally surprised and blown away with how good the food is! The price is also very reasonable and food service pretty fast. It seems the restaurant was under-staff and one non-kitchen staff has to do everything.
Not worth the hype. Yes the BBQ platter was good but the Palak paneer was completely bland. And they should work on the ambiance too!
Staff were friendly. My first time having take away from here. Food was good and plentiful, but very very spicy. They didn't allow a request to make it less spicy for children. I wouldn't discourage anyone from going but I do not think I'll go back. Parking: As it's in a strip mall, the parking is free, but if the area gets busy, you may have to drive around once or twice to find a spot.
I’ve gone here a few times, and I really like their food. Today we ordered mutton curry and butter chicken. The butter chicken was only 4 pieces of chicken, about the size of chicken nuggets. Last time, we split the dish between 4 adults and my 3 year old son. This time, my son and wife each had one morsel, and I had two. It really seemed like about 1/3-1/2 the size of last time. The rest of the shallow dish was very runny sauce. Very disappointed. When the mutton curry showed up, but was chicken instead of mutton.. so we sent it back and got to wait another 15 minutes. Both dishes didn’t come with rice, so I ordered mutton biryani, because plain rice was FOUR DOLLARS!! So I decided to make it an actual dish for $10… all the food tasted good, but the order screw-up, the shockingly small portion sizes, and the $4 plain rice was all a big turn-off. Won’t be returning again. Btw, as we waited to pay, we saw another table get their food served. They also ordered the mutton curry, but their dish was HEAPING with mutton. It was enough for three VERY generous plates of food. Maybe you’ll get treated better here if you’re the right race/religion. This area is very predominantly brown/Muslim. I’m white. I took another look around at other tables and seemed to notice everyone’s portion sizes to be significantly larger than mine. Maybe they ordered 1.5 servings or a double serving? But it was in one dish, not two. It seemed too significant of a portion size difference to be an accident. PS: my friend enthusiastically introduced us to this restaurant because he went a couple years ago and the portion sizes were big and dishes were inexpensive. He was shocked at the total, when we ate there together for my first time. It was roughly double what he was guessing, based on previous visits.
Freshly made food. Ordered two masala Currys which were quite good. Only problem is that its too spicy ,they can't tone down the spices even if u tell them too. Maybe its just my taste .
This place is really good especially the Tandoori Fish Tikka, the BBQ platter and so on... Food is really good and delicious. Price is cheap when you compare it to the other Restaurants that have the same menus. I highly recommend this branch over the other branches like Fatima and Fahad since the price is slightly different.
This is not a halal restaurant anymore. I haven’t been here in some time. Came in today and saw new people working and all were Sikh. So I thought maybe there is new owners. So I asked if this restaurant is still halal and they would answer my question. I asked to see the halal meat recipe or where they get the meat from and they said they don’t have to show me. So if they won’t say if they are serving halal or willing wanting to show where they get their meat from. Leaves a huge question.
