The Cuban Thing

Chuchi made my birthday unforgettable! The food was incredible and the service was above and beyond. They showed up with the trailer, set up in my driveway and offered my friends and family the full food truck experience. Highly recommended and looks forward to checking the out @ Badlands Brewery again. Ale&Xavi

Ordered the Q-Ban Steak and a coke. Was very tasty but my favorite part of the meal was the Tostones! Will try something else for sure and the owner is super cool and friendly.

Let's explore @thecubanthing After looking at some of the delicious pictures from my friends @mississaugaeats, @hungry.jo, @jeannieats_, @ooi.eats and, @hankmoony, I was tempted to step out towards Mississauga's Celebration Square to explore this Cuban delicacy. I got a chance to meet the man behind the Cuban thing, chef @chuchi_rivero. He's such a humble and gem of a person and, as we spoke, I could seriously see his passion for bringing the authentic Miami Cuban heritage to us. So what did I try? : The buttered bread bun is paired with a Crunchy Chicken Breast topped with Berry Guava Caramelized Sauce, Mango lettuce , Cabbage , Deep fried green plantains with Cilantro Island Mojo Sauce . Too bad that I came a little late and couldn't enjoy the other delicacies but, now since they are in Sauga, I can revisit them anytime . Thanks for the complimentary - , Chef . Chuchi at The Cuban Thing makes amazing food, because it tastes amazing! He’s passionate about making it as mush as he is about eating it! Great people with lots of creativity in their food! I highly recommend trying them out!

Ordered through DoorDash - Probably one of the best meals I've ever gotten. The Yuca Fries and Tostones were absolutely perfect! And due to a misunderstanding not the restaurant's fault that caused me to have to order twice, the restaurant sent over an extra Mini-Me Flan. It definitely hit the spot. Thank you so much! I will be ordering again!

We hired The Cuban Thing for our office opening party and they were amazing! The food was delicious and they brought the party with their music. Dealing with Chuchi was a pleasure, he was super accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our staff were happy. 10/10 recommend hiring them for your next event, you won't leave hungry!

Had the El Cubano and it was 10/10. The cubano was served with some tostones and they were also amazing. Great, authentic cuban eats at a nicely affordable price point. In terms of service, the man who served me was super nice and easy to talk to, gave off great energy. Food was prepared quick and fresh.

Just had the chicharitz. At celebration square near square one Mississauga. So so so good loaded with meat! The cilantro mojo sauce was excellent! Great price too
