My wife and I purchased the Stella Kerrigan convertible crib, 6 drawer dresser, nightstand, bed rails, toddler rails as well as a nice mattress in October of 2019. All of the staff was kind and helpful during this process as well as when we picked up our order. Fast forward to August 2022 and our daughter is ready for her toddler rail to be installed. At this point I realized that we had been given the Kerrigan Cottage toddler rail. Today I emailed the store, not too long after Ilana courteously replied to my email offering apologies and informing me that they had the proper toddler rail in stock. I replied with another question, just confirming that the store was still in the same location and Walter replied right away confirming that it was. I would say this was top notch customer service, we are thankful that this minor issue was solved quickly. I know that no store is perfect but I have a hard time believing the negative reviews about Kids & Baby Furniture Warehouse. We will definitely recommend them!
UPDATE someone from their team reached out to us and had taken care of the issue. Delivery driver was very nice and easy to deal with , he installed a new clean and WHITE headboard. The mattress however was not replaced. Overall they made an effort to make things right. If you are thinking of buying anything from here save your self the time and dont go. The older woman is extremely rude and has a it take it or leave it attitude. As soon as we said we need a crib only she had a sour attitude. In addition , she kept implying that we are getting our crib and baby crib mattress and that she has a bunch of inventory in the back. She proceeded to take our payment and then said see you on Tuesday , you can pick it up later when I have workers. When we came to pick it up we noticed when we got home the mattress had been switched to a cheaper quality low budget one and not the one we discussed would be included. We assembled the crib and come to notice there is yellow stains on our crib. So much for a Brand new crib. The whole experience was terrible and when we decided to give them a call to let them know about the mattress they act oblivious and claim they meant to include the low budget one. Save your time and money.
Great furniture store for children's and baby furniture. They carry a huge selection of furniture brands that are hard to find elsewhere in Toronto. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the furniture they sell comes with a one year warranty. I also like to get ideas for decorating here. If you ever want inspiration for decorating your child's room, this is a great place to visit!
My husband and I are expecting our first baby in a few months and my mother found this site. After taking a look we ordered the birch crib and dresser. The furniture is gorgeous! The colour is fantastic and it's solidly built. I can see it lasting for years and years. Shipping took some time which was expected due to recent events. The only minor complaint I have was I was told I would receive an email once it was shipped and I never got one. Otherwise I would buy from this company again.
They were very helpful and accommodating especially during the pandemic. One of my furniture pieces were held up due to covid restrictions and they lent me a loaner until my piece was available. I had an issue with my wardrobe and Walter was very accommodating and fixed the issue. I would recommend them to anyone!!!
Spent close to $2000 on a crib, dresser and night stand. Crib and dresser has defects: crib wouldn’t assemble properly as the drill holes didn’t line up. Dresser had flaws in the finish and one of the drawers were damaged. Drove back, picked up the new parts. Put the drawer into the dresser and it doesn’t close anymore without hitting the frame, hard. Will change rating if management delivers a new dresser, because if you’re going to sell shoddy products, the least you can do is stand behind them and deal with the mistakes. It’s not easy to just “bring back” a dresser.
If you want to get really good products for really good prices; I highly recommend you visit this place! Service is amazing, the sales staff were knowledgeable and very helpful in choosing furniture and accessories for our baby. We are very happy with our purchases.
Great customer service We bought a queen bed for my daughter on the last days of December. When we opened the box to assemble the bed, we saw one of the headboard’s leg was broken. My husband took some pictures and sent them through email. On January 3rd they contacted me and told me they would replace the headboard as soon as possible. The delivery was prompt and they exchanged the headboard on January 7th and the delivery person was very kind and helpful. Very good customer service. Also I would like to mention that this is a great place to visit. First of all , They carry a huge selection of furniture brands that are hard to find elsewhere in Toronto. Secondly, You can get ideas for decorating your child’s room inside the store.
My husband and I are expecting our first child this summer and I came across this location while searching online. We placed an order for the Devon Collection Catania Crib and Dresser set in white and were pleasantly surprised that it was ready for pickup in just about 2 weeks. We were even more impressed with the look and quality of our order! We did run into an issue with hardware, but after speaking with the customer service team, they mailed us the parts in a timely manner and were extremely helpful and professional.
Some of the reviews on here are totally unfair in my opinion. We are on our third baby and have purchased all our kids furniture from here. We have had a pleasant experience with all staff, particularly Walter who is always attentive and communicative. There are furniture shortages EVERYWHERE right now and during COVID. This is a small business just trying to survive and do their best. We have been satisfied and will be coming back again this weekend to get furniture for our third child.
