Are you thinking of stopping by to warm up with a latte or a great tea, for the first time? Our beautiful cafe entrance is actually on Hudson, off of Washington Avenue. It is the second lot, across from our friends, at C W Marsh.

Something new is brewing in Muskegon!

Housed in the Watermark lofts, The Coffee Factory proudly represents and serves MadCap Coffee alongside a scrumptious menu of specialty drinks including handcrafted syrups.

While we take pride in creating the finest hot and cold beverages we also know that community is a key ingredient in everything we brew. Watermark and The Coffee Factory take pride in being a flourishing business in the heart of the Nims Neighborhood and welcome our surrounding community members to this local gathering place with open arms and savory coffee.

In addition to our traditional espresso menu and rotating selection of coffees we also offer high-quality, specialty teas by Jasmine Pearl Tea Company, fresh-baked pastries from Happy Endings, wraps and salads from Rebel Pies and an assortment of exquisite food items to grab on the go or enjoy in house.

Open seven days a week, The Coffee Factory is the latest addition to the Watermark in Muskegon, MI.

Watermark is housed in the former Shaw Walker Furniture Factory, a million square feet, mixed-use development currently housing the Watermark Lofts, Watermark 920, Watermark Live and our newest addition The Coffee Factory.

Awesome spot tucked behind the Watermark in Muskegon. Cool atmosphere, great menu and staff. Very clean.

It's a nice place to have a coffee but the rules for ordering and eating are crazy. they have rules and regulations on the table. I didn't get a good and happy vibe. It's got a damn good CUP of coffee tho.

Let's begin with location: It is tucked away in a location that would be hard to find if you didn’t know it was there. Vibe: There seemed to be plenty of seating, even for busier times. There was an area for what I'd assume would be live music and/or poetry readings, etc. BUT there were rules posted on the tables (no outside food or drinks & no Internet w/o purchase). By the way, the Wi-Fi password we were given was wrong! One very positive small touch was the availability of electrical outlets for plugging in devices (at every table, I believe). Coffee: I didn't understand charging $1 for a refill of brewed coffee. Really? Smh Worst of all, the latte that I ordered was lukewarm. Ugh. This wasn't the "great coffee" other reviewers raved about. Service: We visited about 8:00 on a Monday morning, and the place was dead. One other customer was there during our hour-long visit. Maybe, just maybe, this lack of business contributed to our barista's apathy; however, I'd think it should go the other way -- almost going over the top with excitement that someone was visiting this establishment. Our barista certainly didn't look happy we were there. I walked away very disappointed. Had to brew my own cup at home to get a steaming hot cup of coffee.
