Just love the new decor. This place continues to be one of my favourite places to eat...

A large group of my friends and I combination of management and mature red sealed trained personnel who were out to celebrate after a long work run at the local shipyards wanted to enjoy an evening at the Clubhouse. We arrived at 615 pm on a Saturday and sat at 3 tables at the windows. We were assured these tables would not be moved when the music started. We proceeded to purchase greater than $500 of food and beverages. By approximately 11 the waitress decided she wanted to move us to a remote part of the premises under a stairwell and quite a long distance from the dance floor. When we disagreed politely they insisted and became quite rude. We informed the serving staff that we would be leaving if we had to move. She said that we would have to leave if we didn’t move!! As we were exiting, the bouncer staff member at the Douglas Street entrance shouted at us and indicated we hadn’t been ‘nice’ to the server and maybe we should never come back!! I was quite shocked with this very rude treatment of mature customers who spent the big dollars. Victoria is a very small town and we are thinking the owner Mr Olsen would not appreciate hearing that the big spenders were treated so badly and will never be coming back.
Go there on a busy Friday or Saturday night... if you like the feeling of being stepped on, shoved, squished and potentially run over by a horde of drunken patrons if anything ever goes awry. If the zombie apocalypse happens I know where I DON'T want to be. Last outing I walked out of there with a bloody foot and bruised arms. Other than that it can be a fun place if given the right crowd and a decent amount of space to move around. That's why it gets three stars instead of one.
Turnt Tuesdays really show off what can be done with a small dance floor. This bar features a small outdoor seating section, for a relaxed drink in the sun. Clubhouse is usually a great spot to catch a quick drink and unwind just a little.
Kicked me out for no reason, weren't willing to listen
