The Clothes Line provides a valuable community service by recycling gently used clothing, small household goods, electronics, toys, and books.
The Clothes Line is a community Thrift Store run by CONTACT Community Services.
We are always accepting donations but prefer that donations are dropped off during business hours at the back of our store. Please call for information. Below you can find a list of items we accept in the store.
Clothing & Accessories
Men’s, women's, and children’s clothing, jewelry, hats, mitts, scarves, ties, shoes (all types), purses, and wallets
Housewares
Bed & Bath Items: towels, bedspreads, comforters, sheets, blankets, pillow cases, curtains, and tablecloths. Kitchen Items: mugs, pots, pans, utensils, china cups, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware, stemware, and hand tools
Household Items:
Baskets, candles, crafts, pictures, frames, vases, knick-knacks, and ornaments, Small Electrical Items: toasters, radios, power tools, irons, blenders, mixers, small stereos, CD players, hair dryers, curling irons, lamps, telephones, and clocks
Miscellaneous Items:
toys, games, puzzles, books (hardback and paperback), records, tapes, CD's, videos, DVD's, bicycles, and ice skates
Please keep in mind the quality and resale value of the goods you are donating. If you are unable to sell an item at a garage sale or wouldn’t give it to a friend or a family member, we probably won't be able to sell it!
