The Clayton Public House

Tonight was first visit to this restaurant. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I chose it over nearby franchise restaurants. It was close to where I was working so the location was convenient. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great with refills immediately when needed and that coupled with great tasting food made for a perfect five star visit. I ordered the sweet crispy chili chicken with a side order of fries. I thoroughly enjoyed both. I ended the meal with key lime pie in a glass. Tasty! The next time I’m working in the area I will for sure visit again.

First time going here and I was not disappointed! First of all, I had the best wings I have ever had here! I also got the crispy chicken burger with fries and gravy and it was so delicious. The staff here are so kind and welcoming. Lots of tables and TV's. Such a cool vibe. I will definitely return :

Their drinks are great and cheap. The food is very meh. Their fries are not good. Their wings with Frank’s Hot Sauce + Ranch were good, but you can’t really go wrong with that. I loved my pickled caesar it was so tasty. Everyone was thoroughly satisfied with the drinks but not impressed by food. The food comes after a while. We ordered shots and the server put them all on my bill even though I didn’t order them and there were five of us and five shots, it shouldn’t be that complicated to split them up…

Patio was nice, early evening, nice view. $3 beer and appetizers. Do those. Grabbed the $20 seared Salmon. Not a great choice. Likely seared earlier in day and just reheated. At least that’s what it tasted like - dried out. Bed of rice was just that, also likely made earlier in the day. Pineapple salsa was ok. $5 sliders and $9 wings would have been better choice likely.

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was met with dirty floors and an unpleasant odor that lingered throughout the restaurant. The tables were sticky and the chairs were stained, which made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. The menu was limited and lacked any creative or unique options. I ordered a burger and fries, and was shocked at how greasy and overcooked it was. The fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. The bartender seemed more interested in watching TV than attending to the customers, and it took a long time for my food and drink orders to arrive. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was depressing with loud, obnoxious music blaring in the background. The whole experience was uncomfortable and I could not wait to leave. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a decent meal or a pleasant dining experience.

Love coming here after a long day of work. The servers are amazing and engage. Love the atmosphere. Drinks are great prices at happy hour. Jamie is a great bartender who changes the game to big screen if we ask him. Tanya, Carly, Christy always go above and beyond and next drink is always ready to go. Will be a regular!!!!

Music bingo was fun, our waitress was great! I didn't eat so not sure about food, slushy drinks could be more boozy, think they cheapen out because when with the added shot it tastes like a single.. other than that it's a fun casual night out.

We were there for happy hour on a Monday. The pizza is fantastic! Double!. Beer is $3 at happy hour which is incredible. Food was great. Service was terrific. Atmosphere was good. We will return.

Great patio ambience and views. Salmon portion however was small and over cooked dry. The Dry Ribs was more like an appetizer, could be creative and be served with veggies/salad etc. Our server had told us it was Happy Hour and beers were $3. However, when the bill arrived, we were charged full price because "that beer is not included in Happy Hour".

Stood in line for almost 2 hours waiting for a table that should have been ready in "the next 20 mins". Bouncers are absolutely terrible. No logic to their madness, and have no idea how to let people in once others leave. Drinks are wonderfully cheap tho. And the bartenders are really great.
