The Cider Mill

I was here once and I'd go again. The waiter we had was a little forgetful, but we had a party of 9 or 10. But, the food was fantastic. You'd never know this place was so good if you judge it from the outside.

I was told I had to try the Cider Mill, but was not impressed. The first thing I noticed was the chairs and table. Both felt cheap and wobbly - like something bought from Target or Value City - fine for some applications, but not for a restaurant. The food was extremely salty, and the quite tough. I could barely eat the bun on the burger I got. Meat itself was tough too without much flavor. My guess is it is all frozen food that is thawed and prepared - that would explain the flavorless tough consistency with the high salt flavors. My friend didn't even eat the salmon because of the Salty-ness. However, the drink selection is huge and the ambience was relaxing. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. I am going to give it another chance in case it was an off night - but as of now this will not be restaurant I frequent.

Great menu. Food and drinks are great, good selection. Does get busy fast! Service is good. Food is not rushed which makes for a relaxing dining experience.

My wife and I heard great things about the restaurant. The food was good. We both had steaks with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was with sauce and pretty good. The potatoes were good as well. This is a good place for a date. The roads were bad with snow and the place was still fairly full/busy. Call a few hours ahead to make a reservation.

This is the best restaurant in Onondaga County. From cocktails to dessert, this place is unbelievable. Perfect for any occasion.
