The Chopped Leaf

I took my order to go. I opened it when I got home minutes later only to discover that there's no avocado, and there was only a tiny small spoonful of tofu. All that was in it was white rice, iceberg lettuce and the tiny spoonful of tofu with two tiny containers of sauce. I could not believe I just paid $16 for white rice and iceberg lettuce! I drove back and got my money back. It was an incredible rip off; not to mention the young guy at the counter rolled his eyes at my sister, when she was trying to decide what to order. It was our first time there. We'd give it zero stars if we could. We'll NEVER go back.

If I could give a zero I would. Eat here at your own risk. Just bought a salad, got home and discovered, after eating some, that all the purple lettuce in the mix was BLACK and SLIMY. This is indicative of old lettuce and bacteria. I called the store and explained this to the manager. She offered to replace my $16 salad (pathetic amount of vegetables for the price as well) which I declined as I would never want to eat anything out of that kitchen again. When I said that I was merely calling to tell them to pull that particular mix as people could get sick she scoffed it off saying “I don’t think people will get sick” so I told her I would write about it as a review so others could save themselves then from sickness. How unprofessional and unsafe. I will never go back and will warn others not to as well.

Disappointed that I ordered a Popeye salad to go and she made me something Greek I think. Was looking so looking forward to it, so disappointing! Next time I will double check my order. I usually go to the Ironwood store and it has always been great.

The leaves are a great size! I’m a fan! Friendly staff.

Great food, friendly service. Nice place for family. Will recommend others to come and eat here.
