The Children's Place

Received a gift card for The children’s place so I had to shop at this location since it’s the closest to me. The unacceptable customer service I received was outrageous. In the middle of my transaction the cashier Janie walked away and spent 2 minuets helping another shopper while the manager Jennifer stood by and did nothing. I bought shoes that ended up not fitting my daughter and returned them 15 minuets after I purchased them. Here is where they really set me off, I paid with a gift card and cash. When I did the return I expected the cash back and whatever balance that was paid with the gift card to be issued as a store credit or gift card. Instead I was only issued a store credit. Janey states it was the store policy to return only as a store credit. Nothing on the return policy states that. This location and all of its staff should be investigated for theft. I find their lack of customer service deplorable and will not return to this location.
