Bon-Ton

Bait and bait again!!! They advertise for big sales, but 90% of the merchandise is on its own type of sale so you can't use the sales that they send in the mail.. too many restrictions. TOO MANY HIDDEN KEYWORDS... LIKE "OUTERWEAR". I already have a coat. You are not going to trick me into buying something i dont want. I'm going to cancel my 0-balance account with the Bon-ton. I will not allow you to play with my time.

I attempted to exchange a coat I received for Christmas with tags but without a receipt nor the card it was purchased with. The associate at the register said it could be done but changed her mind halfway through the transaction. When I called the store afterwards for clarification, I spoke to 4 different people who said they weren't sure, the 5th finally told me that it wasn't a problem. I guess I will be lugging my infant a half an hour back to the store tomorrow to try again.

Loved Bon Ton.... and then it left Hamden. CT (CT's only Bon Ton). Hated to see it go.

Terrible. Lines are always long. Merchandise is over price.
