Service was excellent! Good selection of beer on tap and lots of interesting cocktails. I ordered beer and it was out; my second choice was good and it was happy hour with good prices for Medicine Hat. Steak sandwich and sliders were tasty and the presentation was decent. Homemade dressings on salad were good. The ambience is quite good for Medicine Hat but some improvements like candles on tables and some well-placed dividers would go a long way. We will be back with company from out of town!
Very cool place/environment. Very relaxed and laid back. Food was good and staff was friendly. My only complaint would be that cocktail menu was one of the most expensive I've seen. A little bit more of a selection of food would be nice too. Overall would for sure recommend!
Lots of room for improvement. This place looks new, so I like to give them the benefit of the doubt before they figure everything out, but I’m not sure if I’ll be back. The decor is very nice, clean and modern. We were seated by a hostess, but we didn’t see our waitress for over 10 minutes. Not much to do when your just sitting there. After our drink order we waited another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Waitress didn’t seem too concerned about the wait for our drinks. Our food arrived, without utensils. We had to ask for them. Food was kinda overpriced and I can’t really say many good things about the taste, quality and flavour. I really don’t want to sound like a negative person but it’s hard to be positive about anything from our visit. Not sure if it was an off night by our waitress and food staff. Or just bad management but we spent $89 dollars in an hour or so and I don’t know if I’ll spend that again just to see if things have improved. Hopefully they figure it out.
Great hideaway, awesome cocktail menu and good service.Unfortunetly the main entrance had a sour scent, but once in the dining area the atmosphere was pleasant. Appetizer menu was limited, ordered the 1/2 nachos, portion size was generous! Overall, enjoyed this new addition to the Hat, will definitely return!
Loved the atmosphere and food was great. Staff was a little inexperienced but the excellent manager can't recall her name - the lady from Montreal will have them upto speed in no time. Looking forward to my next visit.
