Welcome to The Cat Clinic
Owned by one of the few board certified feline veterinary specialist in Ontario, The Cat Clinic is a full functioning animal hospital in Hamilton specifically for feline patients.

Established in 1978, the veterinarians and staff at The Cat Clinic understand the special bond you share with your cat and we strive for compassionate high quality care. We've been around a long time and our whole team is dedicated to staying up to date on current knowledge and techniques in feline medicine. At our hospital we encourage client participation in the decision making process and treat every patient as an individual with dignity and compassion, as if they were our own.

Our hospital is equipped to provide your pet with routine medical care which includes Physical examination, laser therapy, digital radiography, ultrasound, dentistry and surgery as well as many other important services and emergency care should the need arise. We are active in both community and national charity work supporting cats and their needs. Dr. O'Brien has volunteered her time to go all over the country championing Cat Healthy by creating awareness of responsible cat ownership. Locally we are the founders of the street cat program, this project partners with the hbspca to run a spay/neuter trap and release program for the local feral cats. This helps to control the feline populations, promotes keeping healthier cats and decreases fighting. We often have strays we have “cleaned up” that are in our hospital looking for a new home as well as providing care for several rescues. We also work with The Living Rock, an organization helping “youth at risk” by providing routine veterinary care for their pets.

The Cat Clinic welcomes new clients, emergencies, second opinions, transfers and of course our regular clients.
