This team is fantastic! We came to East Mountain Animal Clinic because our pup wasn't well. He fell sick over the weekend and we were very anxious to have him seen and treated by a professional. We called about 5 places but everyone turned us away--too busy. This was incredibly stressful, but everything changed when we call East Mountain. They were relaxed, friendly and supportive. We saw them within hours. Every member of their staff left a great impression on us. We especially want to thank Victoria for being so kind and gentle, and Dr. A. for being so professional and thorough. It's noteworthy to mention how clean and modern their facilities are. Prices were much lower than we anticipated. Bonus! Overall this was a 5 star experience and we want to thank all of the staff for their help. Cheers to being awesome!
Exceptional!! I am always impressed by the service and care they take with Venus. Joey is always kind and friendly to us when we come for appointments. Joey makes Venus excited to visit the clinic. He is amazing with her even though she’s a handful! I appreciate the service and care the staff give to us. They go over and above for us. Thanks
Our dog needed dental surgery. They fit us into the schedule very quickly. The staff were very friendly. The facilities are very nice. Instructions for after care were very detailed. The total cost came to much less than we were expecting. Honey is very happy after a few days recovery. Thank you for taking such good care of her.
WARNING: SCAMMERS, Most expensive place. The owners will steal your money even when they have made a mistake with your tests done for your pet. Please do not bring your pets here for any reason. The veterinarians have absolutely no compassion for animals. My cat was brought in the back for blood work and he was screaming. I am filling a lawsuit against these evil people. Their Idexx blood machine is broken, they will give you inaccurate information. The vets have no compassion for animals. They have a quota for each client to reach no matter how minor the issue is, and treat you like a walking ATM machine. They scammed me really bad and now my cat is very sick. I had blood work done for my cat and found out a week later from another vet clinic this blood work was sent to that it is completely invalid. East mountain does not repair their blood work machines and gives you the incorrect test results to go by. The blood work values were all incorrect and if they were legit my cat would be dead. I want a refund for the blood work. The vet didn’t even go over the blood values with me but pushed me to pay for other tests without going over the details of blood work.. I had to have blood work redone somewhere else. East me so many mistakes in the past and this was the last straw. If you have a pet that is not well they will keep you uninformed to keep you paying for more tests and medications. They are in this business for the money and will do anything possible to fool you and take your money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM EAST MOUNTAIN. IF YOU HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH EAST MOUNTAIN PLEASE CONTACT THE OVC, Ontario veterinarian college.
Wow, I was so happy and felt at ease after leaving the clinic. We called for an emergency appointment for our teacup Chihuahua, who was very sick! They promptly got us in for an appointment the same day! The receptionist Dani was so friendly and sweet! When we were called to the exam room we were welcomed by the sweetest technician Maria! She was so gentle and loving to our fur baby! He was then seen by Dr Halaina female Dr who was so amazing! They did everything they could to make our dog feel safe and at ease! The coat was minimal. Honestly after reading some of the previous reviews I was worried however we had the most amazing experience and will continue to go back to East Mountain! Thank you to everyone there who made our visit comfortable and loving!!!
The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I have been able to get an appointment as soon as the same evening or the next day for non-emergency issues. The vetrinarians and veterinarian assistants/technicians have always been gentle, kind, and professional when handling our cats. The waiting area and individual rooms are very clean. We have always been beyond satisfied after our visits. 10/10 recommended
The team was able to take my dog in an emergency situation when he was stung by something outside and had a bad reaction! They fit us in within the hour, took great care of him and were super friendly. They were also extremely affordable, especially considering how last minute they took us. Thank you all :
Used to be good. The one positive I will say is that they can usually squeeze your pet in at a moments notice and their prices are fair. But at our last visit the vet prescribed an egregious amount of medication for an injury to our dog's eye. The Vet could NOT explain why our dog for her particular injury needed each one, just what each medication does in general. It's sad, but clear, with their thousands of drug posters on the walls, their goal is to medicate, not treat your pet.
Don't bring your dog or Cat to this location. I'm in the process of launching a complaint with the Ontario Veterinary College. Against one of the Vets. Completely lied to me regarding agreed costs and services. They Cancelled a follow up surgery exam because I threatened to complain about one of the Vets. Even after I paid for the agreeded service. Which I was told included a follow up examination for my dogs surgery, which they canceled because I complained in an email. Again don't bring your Pets here.
With Mia, my high anxiety German Shepherd rescue dog, each and every staff member that we have encountered there has gone beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. You have accommodated us extremely well and I think Mia is starting to get the hang of coming there. My stress level has subsided due to the high quality of care your staff have provided. This is my first time with a rescue dog and the most challenging experience with a pet I have ever had. So thank you for all your help and care. It is my privilege to share my good experience about East Mountain Vet with others. Thank you !!
