The Butchery

Blown away by the selection. I went in expecting a few cutlets, then realized they’ve got WAGU steak like, seriously!? and a bunch of marinated steaks/chicken breasts and ready to make items. One item I got was the beer battered haddock, holy moly it was delicious, melted in my mouth. Can’t wait to come back and try some more items!

Vera’s Burger Shack - the best burger I’ve had in this city, no question! Pricy, but we’ll worth it Next time, I won’t be getting the double burger… it was too big! Will report back on the Butchery after I BBQ, but selection was great and quality looked great too

Fantastic service and great place for all of your meat. We had our daughter’s wedding that we were hosting in June 2021 and we wanted to serve a better than normal prime rib. The Butchery went out of their way to source a USDA Prime designated roast that exceeded our expectations and earned rave reviews from our guests see pics. Their meats are the best, they know their stuff and they are great to deal with.

Prices are crazy and very rude customer service. Person behind deli counter was on his phone and made me feel like I was interrupting him...cashier barely acknowledged my presence and no thank you after I paid. Never even looked at me once. Guess customers are a nuisance there.

We purchased 2 sirloin steaks to make tartare from this establishment and was very disappointed with the quality! The steaks were tough and fatty. We were told that it was butchered on the same day we purchased it but we now believe that this was not true - did not taste like steaks purchased from other butchery. Cost $63.89 for 2 small portions. We will not return to this butchery.

I ordered a sad which and the lady doing it was very rude. Asking me to cleanup the counter with ordering sheets and pencil after I placed my order. I was then charged 15 dollars for 1 sandwhich which was microwaved smoked meat. Which fell apart as they were making it on the unclean counter. It was then plopped in front of me without a word being said and a glare.

Great burger and rings. Solid smoked meat platter. Service is from youngsters...

We have been going to The Butchery since it opened over 40 years and we could always count on perfect New York steaks, never getting a bad one. In the last 6 months however we have received Striploins that were tough, grissely, hard to cut and almost impossible to chew. The Manager kindly replaced 2 of the steaks once but it has happened multiple times. Something has happened to this store and I don't know why. It makes things worse when we have to pay the kinds of prices we do today. Very disappointed.

Food is amazing, service is excellent and the product is always fresh. Treat yourself to the vast selection of meats, it's worth it.

Amazing shop, they have a great selection of meats and knowledgeable staff, the prices are good and products offered are always fresh. The store is always very clean. They also offer prepared foods and have a little take out restaurant inside that even tho a bit costly in my opinion is amazing and some of the best burgers you will ever eat.. give this place a try.
