I had the eggs Benedict and home fries with coffee. Plenty of food and very filling. Waitress refilled my coffee.
Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Delicious! My husband and I usually come for the breakfast which we always love. Always excellent breakfast and service here. I was pleasantly surprised by the dinner, simple but tasty! The owner is very nice and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back for breakfast, and dinner. Will have to try lunch menu next.
I brought my two children, aged 3 and 7 in for lunch. The staff was extremely friendly and service was prompt! Aaliyah was our server and she was very helpful and made sure my coffee was always topped up! The owner came over to make sure our needs were met and gave us all The Brook pens! He also let us know they have live music often and will be having a New Years Eve party! This is only the second time we have been and we will definitely be back!
Had been here a year or two ago and I'm sure the ownership must have changed. We walked in at peak dinner time and we were the only ones in the place. That's when I began to think something was up with this restaurant. The server was very nice but the food was not atball good relative to what they were charging. Two of had home fries and the potatoes were not cooked throughout. Horrible. Paid more than $15 for a chicken club and there was a whole quarter of the sandwich without chicken!! Gave two stars because the server was sweet and I think she smells the writing on the wall for this place. We will never go back and I would recommend you find another place to eat.
We were torn on how many stars to give. Basically all I can say is it was underwhelming! It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. This review would be more of a learning curve for the owners. If a breakfast is going to be over$50, it should at least be considered good and stand out a bit with so much competition. Here's what we thought, based on our overall experience; -benedict sauce is way too thin and tasteless -english muffins for Benedict menu need to be toasted or put on the grill, it was like eating sponges. Yes you serve 3 eggs but save the egg and put more effort into the English muffins and definitely the hollandaise sauce because that's the most important thing. - home fries were tasteless and mushy -Sausage with our other breakfast were ok but cook them more when you aren't serving them in a skillet -service was ok. Not good, not bad and I'm saying that based on how busy they got. They were doing their best but if there is a wait time, keep up on coffee refills especially with the price as well as take plates away if the person is done as you walk by. However they could be new staff and haven't learned to multi task. There should have been 3 servers at their peak but 2 could have handled it with more thought - not to pick on servers at all however seeing someone's belly because their shirt is too short at breakfast is not cool, save it for the bar crowd. -washrooms to me represent your cleanliness overall especially when you think of a kitchen. If you have a cleaning company, change it or give them feedback. Bathrooms represent the overall experience especially after a pandemic; was not impressed and wish I had of checked that earlier -please do something for disabled people considering no wheelchair spots and the weight of your doors and no automatic doors. So overall, we won't be back at least for breakfast, maybe your lunch is better however we aren't willing to try considering what we experienced vs the price. We don't mind spending money on breakfast as long as it's worth it. Kid-friendliness: You can let kids run around with no shoes without worrying; not cool for me Wheelchair accessibility: 0 would not go back
Excellent staff from the server up to and including the owner Very very good dollar value for both the lunch and the breakfast the next morning. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I would recommend this establishment to others. Kid-friendliness: Staff was very attentive to both our party and the large family with several small people Parking: Parking was not an issue for us 2 vehicles
I have been twice now and disappointed both times. I had a veggie omelet the first time. It was okay, but very bland and warm, not hot. Second time I had the veggie skillet. Very bland, came on a bed of homefries that weren't cooked all the way through. Mostly ate the eggs it came with, they were good. The hollandaise sauce was ... odd. It had a powdery texture and no flavor. The person I was with had a classic breakfast both times and enjoyed it. However, all of our food came out at different times. So the toast and waffle were getting cold while I waited for my skillet/eggs, and he wanted for his eggs and meat. Hollandaise sauce came last and in a separate bowl. It was 3 separate trips for the waitress to deliver all the food and about 5minutes for all of our food to come. Server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite this Visit. The first visit the server looked annoyed with our presence and barely checked on us, despite being nearby it's not a big place. Visit 1 - Sunday morning around 10am. 1 other couple in there. Visit 2 - Friday around 5pm, 1 other couple in there. Really wish it were a better place as it has potential and is local.
It’s been a few years since we’ve sat in and ordered food here and unfortunately we won’t be back. The service was terrible. Only 1 server taking care of everything. We cleaned our own table, found a high chair after asking several times for one, did not receive our drinks during the entire meal and was served pancakes without syrup that eventually we had to find ourselves. Probably the worst experience we’ve had eating out. When we paid at the front, we mentioned we didn’t receive water or anything to drink with our meal and the server was cold and unapologetic.
Went for the first time yesterday to have lunch, and at 1:30 in the afternoon we were told they were closing at 2 and the place was empty. Yet on the menu they list breakfast all day. They must have a big crowd for breakfast that they can afford to shut the place down for lunch at 1:30....Went across the street, and even though they were busy, they were happy to greet and accommodate us right away. And the food was absolutely amazing.
Great family atmosphere that provides excellent quality service with a smile inviting " You" the customer to feel at home with good food and a clean and safe environment. Thank you for being a place where families can go and dine together and create forever good memories. Blessings
